JamJam Can!

My children love this book! My 5 year old walks around the house reciting Jam Jam Can! The book has provided children with an age appropriate insight into a personal experience of Trisomy 13, highlighting the abilities and differences that should be recognised and celebrated. It’s beautifully written and the illustrations are inclusive and diverse. I work with children with disabilities and found it representative of their experiences, I can’t wait to share this book with them and their families. Totally recommend for children of all ages!

My daughter loved this book she took it into school to share with her class mates. Her little brother has similar equipment/needs as Jamjam in the story and it was great to have a book which featured these in a positive way.

A refreshing read and i enjoyed the book and the happy life the little boy with special needs lives despite his disabilities.I recommend this storybook JamJam can to all mainstream and special needs creche,preschool and nursery/schools across the continents.It is all inclusive and supports diversity as it portrays the main character JamJam as a coloured child.It is nice to see something different in a children book and i give kudos to the writer who is a mum of a little lovely boy disability .

My boys love Jam Jam can. They pray for Jam Jam all the time.Simple language, affirming, great illustrations.Thank you for your book it's helped us to discuss diversity and inclusivity as a family been meaning to do it for ages but this has opened the floodgates wide open.The poor book is new but looks well used because they utilise it so much.

My girls and I loved this book. The pictures were bold and bright bright and the repetition of certain phrases were really engaging for them. It was also a great way to discuss chromosomes, feeding tubes and many other things. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this story. It gave true magic and was a great education tool all at the same time. I was able to speak to my children about differences and that to me is so important.

Representation, Inclusion, Understanding, Appreciation and Love.This book is beautiful and full of the above. I love it!
