Just took it out of the box and it's a lot shinier than the photo leads to. In the photo it looks antiqued or a bronze faded color, but in real life it looks like gold costume jewelry. Very light weight as well and small. for the price it's not awful, but it's not for someone who has had a quality buckle before.

The scorpion is cool but I'm disappointed that the buckle has a lot more gold on it than the picture. The pictures look darker with little hints of gold but the buckle we recieved is bright shiny gold..
