NuGo Slim Chocolate Mint Box, 1.59 OZ (Pack of 12)

These are delicious! I'm a personal trainer and holistic nutritionist, and finding a plant-based protein bar that's very low in sugar, high in protein and fiber, doesn't upset the stomach, and is tasty? Almost impossible, but they've done it with this one. I'm eating one every day to meet my macro goals, and quite a few of my clients have already ordered a box after trying one of mine. Yes, my box disappeared very fast! They smell exactly like a Thin Mint girl scout cookie and don't disappoint in taste, although they are a bit hard. The only reason I notice that is because I am currently wearing Invisalign braces and my teeth are sensitive to hard foods. No one else has mentioned it, so I'm assuming it's just my special-needs teeth. It won't deter me from my once-daily treat, which I now look forward to eating every day as if it was a forbidden dessert!

We are on a weight loss program, their meals are great, but the snack bars at230 calories, not that great. We found these Nugo bars on-line, they are wonderful. Lower calories (160), bigger, and higher protein (16g) than our weight loss snack bars, low sugar and very chocolatey and satisfying. As my husband is anemic, we were also happy to see 3.4 mg of iron in each bar as well. Ever since we switched over to these snacks, we have been steadily dropping weight...and with a cup of coffee, they go down like a luxury baked good dessert. Our favorites are the chocolate espresso and the mint.

Good tasting for a snack or meal replacement. I find them to be a little too sweet so I cut it up for a pick me up. No after taste.

These NuGo Slim chocolate mint bars are fantastic!!!They taste just like chocolate mint Girl Scout cookies.They have protein but only 3 grams of sugar.

These NuGo Slim Mint ones are really delicious, as well as Vegan. Thank you soooo much to other reviewers who mentioned looking for the Vegan label, because I totally missed the label on the other flavors of Nugo Slim bars. I assumed they were all made from the same protein source, but certain flavors have whey as well as the soy protein. Thank God I didn't eat the raspberry ones yet, because I have a dairy allergy. Too bad they don't have more non-dairy options. Mint chocolate is my favorite, though. Definitely getting these again.As far as the quality, I found these to be fresh - although I ordered them via Amazon at Whole Foods, and they were delivered from the store.

I have been buying NuGO Slim bars for over 2 years now (mostly from Amazon, sometimes at Fresh Market). Historically they have been great and have tasted amazing given the very low sugar and no artificial sugar added. Overall great macros and taste which I have not been able to find in any other bar. I had read some negative reviews about these bars, but I personally had not had a negative experience.Despite my overall positive experience with these bars, my last order (mint flavor) have been absolutely terrible. I just opened the third bar in the box and it is as awful as the first two. They are hard as a rock, taste and seem stale, and not at all like the previous NuGO Slim bars I have had. I do not want to give up on this brand. I would like NuGO to either refund me for this last order or just send me a box of the brownie flavor Slim bars instead.Very disappointed with my last order...

I was nervous to try the slim version of these bars, as the macros are a little too good for a vegan bar, but I am so happy I got them. They are crunchy, chocolatey, minty, and just wonderful. Of course, I always wish things were cheaper, but they're worth it.

I’ve bought these before and they were great. This time they are a month away from expiration, taste stale and are extremely tough to chew.
