Hepa filter is about 1/4" too short for a perfect fit in the Winix 5500-2
The original Winix Hepa filter fit perfectly however this generic replacement is about 1/4" too short. It still looks long enough that air won't bypass the filter however just to be on the safe side I inserted a folded strip of cardboard (from white box it came in) under the Hepa filter to center it in the opening. Also added a strip of (fuzzy) velcro to the top. The carbon bead filter looked to be very similar to the original and fit perfectly.

Pretty much identical to the original
The asking price for the authentic filter for my Winix Zero S was outrageous so I went with a 2 pack of these replacements instead. They look very similar to the original and will work just fine. Will likely buy another 2 pack to stock up.
