Riparo Genuine Leather, Adjustable K-9 Dog Collar with Additional Reinforcement (L: 3.8 cm wide for 45.7-53.3 cm neck, aqua)

Looks very much the part at first glance, but after a few days of use, it's fairly clear I won't get more than a couple of months wear out of this collar. The problem, as far as I can see, are poor manufacturing techniques coupled with inappropriate use of materials. The fairly amateur way the D-shackle is stitched and mounted into the leather is the main issue..It's great that the padded inner leather is nice and soft but the outer leather should be tougher..much tougher, more durable and more able to withstand the pulling force of a sometimes unwieldy puppy. Shame because it looks great, but it just won't last long.

Only used the collar a couple of times before it failed as per the picture, which is very disappointing when the collar is stated as being HEAVY DUTY and we've only got a one year cockapoo. We have revert back to the old canvas collar even though it doesn't look too great.

Really made up with this collar i ordered an XL for my German shepherd in red and black its quite chunky and would definitely suit a staff mastiff type dog as well 😃 🙂

I bought my Rhodesian Ridgebacks one of these collars each as they needed a new collar. These are very durable collars they are made beautifully with attention to detail, they are padded well and are wider than I thought but it looks really good, I am going to recommend these collars to my friends with dogs. The Orange colour collar is absolutely lovely and suits my dogs coat which is a light tan collar, they have a small metal link to attach your pet ID tag to which is perfect as before I had to attach the tag to the buckle link and it didn’t hang properly. So all in all a very good quality dog collar for a very good price.

Good looking collar and a very good fit. Quality at first looks excellent but after a few weeks use the D ring which the lead attaches on to started to turn and pull through the leather loop where it I situated. I do have a Lab that pulls but if the collar was stitched where the D Ring sits it would have been a top quality item. As it is I won't be using it any more and will be looking for a collar that better suits my needs

Brought for a huge Newfoundland. Its a littke too thick in my opinion but finding a XXXL collar is an art form and this one was great value as you can pay ££££ heavily for collars this size. We have it on the last setting so it barely fits just scrapes in there with enough room for fingers down the back.

By their very structure Bull Terriers are strong - and the strength is mostly in their neck and shoulders. I have always used a leather collar but also a harness when on walks.I have a very stubborn bully, who needs a little guidance (steering) on a walk. This collar is amazing. It is sturdy, great quality and clearly comfortable. I'm able to steer my bully with ease. And it looks great.Very pleased with it. thank you!

Bought this collar for a change as he’d had his for 2+ years. Extremely impressed with the quality of this collar. Very well made and the leather is very soft and well padded. Having a separate ring to attach his tag results in the lead attachment ring sitting at the back of his neck - making it easier to attach the lead. Very happy and looks great.
