The only remote you'll ever need with convenient features
It took me less than five minutes to program the remote. The other thing I like is the responsiveness with my roku player. With the previous rca remote, I had to point it directly at the player in order for it to respond. This was the four device version of the rca universal remotes. However, it was still a great remote but I like that this new remote allows for some flexibility where it doesn't need to be pointed directly at the player. Also, the list button on the remote is very handy with my direct tv box. I am able to reach my recordings in no time as opposed to going to the menu and then clicking on the favorites option. I was quite astonished that it was able to learn that particular command. On another note, the bottom arrow button is a lot more responsive when I'm scrolling down the tv guide. With the rca four device remote, I had to press harder in order for the channels on the guide to consecutively go down. Again, the rca four device remote wasn't a bad remote but I can tell a major difference in the sensitivity and response time especially with the roku player. It did get a little exasperating to point the remote directly at the roku player to get it to perform the commands I needed it to. In all essence, it's the best universal remote I've ever had. I've tried a couple of universal remotes and either they didn't perform the commands I needed them to, or they wouldn't control certain commands such as the back option for going to the previous menu. This remote however performs all the commands I needed it to successfully and effortlessly. Even if you don't have six devices to control, I would recommend going with the six device remote as opposed to the four device remote because of the reasons I have stated above. In addition, you never know when you might add another device to your entertainment system. You wouldn't want to purchase a new universal remote to accompany another device. So in a nutshell, this remote will save you time and money as well.

Great Remote But Some Caveats
First, I ordered this product, and received something different than what I ordered. What I wanted was the RCA branded RCRN06GR, but instead, I got the "Audiovox" RCRPS0GR - which is a less capable remote. Be sure to check your remote to make sure you received the correct one. The one I got had packaging and instructions that said it was the one I had ordered - but the remote itself was a different model, with different buttons, and different battery requirements.I sent the remote back, and ordered another one. The replacement was the correct one, had RCA on the box (no Audiovox branding) and the correct instructions. I spent almost an entire day programming the remote for 5 devices (CD player, DVD player, TV, CableBox, and Receiver). I used the learning function extensively, and then ran out of memory to complete the programming. Once you run out of memory - there is nothing you can do if you still need to program additional functions. The memory is limited to 50 learned functions. Using the preprogrammed codes does not use the learning memory. So I started over. I erased all learned functions, and this time I limited the number of functions I programmed on the TV device, since I use the CableBox device to control most of my TV viewing. Also, I was able to use a preprogrammed code for the CableBox (Comcast), and a DVD player (Oppo). I have an old Sony CD player, and I tried using the codes for this player. I tried all of the Sony CD player codes, and the Sony DVD player codes, but I could never get the remote to work using these codes, with my Sony CD player. So I had to use the learning functions to control the CD player.Another quirk with this remote is the volume punch-through function. This allows the volume setting on one device (TV) to pass to another device (CableBox). In fact, I could not even program directly the volume keys on the remote for CableBox, and had to rely on the volume punch-through method to enable the volume keys when using the remote to control the CableBox.In conclusion, this is still a pretty good remote, albeit, with limited memory. It's nicely illuminated, the buttons are responsive, and with some patience, I was able to get it set up and working with every device I have. I suggest a careful reading of the instruction manual, followed by using preprogrammed codes first (as this saves the learning memory), and finally, manually programming/learning the devices that don't have a working code. Also, it's best to program the most used devices first, so that if you do run out of memory, you will have at least programmed the more frequently used components. And, be prepared to start over, if things go awry on your first attempt, as it did for me. After spending enough time with this remote, I think I finally got it tamed for my set up - and it works great!Update - 11/08/2019I did find a 5 digit code for older Sony CD players. The code is: 41058. This code is listed as a code for a Sony Receiver in the code list provided with the remote control, but it does work with older Sony CD players.

Stopped working after two weeks
I was able to program it successfully, and it controlled 5 components for two weeks. After 2 weeks, it forgot how to control one device. After 3 weeks, it would not control any devices and the programming functions did not behave as explained in the manual (as another reviewer also noted). Batteries are fresh.
