Great quality
I love these because they come in .005 ML point. Perfect for the fine work that I have to do. They last a long time. They are a rich, black and give good coverage. They give a perfectly fine line with no bleeding. Tips do not wear out. Although be careful not to run them over wet areas or they stop working. I always have these on hand. Never want to run out. Buying them in a multi pack is a good price.

Great precision drawing pens with super fine line and archival ink!
As a professional artist and illustrator who works in pen and ink extensively, I have used Sakura's Pigma Micron 005 ink pens for 29 years and have always been very pleased with the results. These are great precision drawing pens with a super-fine line. Excellent for hand-drawn graphics, character concept art, comics, graphic novels, cartoons, and any precision line art or illustration you wish to create. The fast drying archival ink does not fade or bleed when dry which makes them ideal for use with watercolors and water soluble bottled color inks or illustration markers .They perform well on a variety of papers, from economy sketch tablets and sheets of copy paper to art papers like water color papers, Bristol card stock, illustration board, or cotton fiber print making papers. If you are new to working with these pens, be careful to not apply forceful pressure while drawing or writing since the miniature felt tip is delicate and can break. Tip breakage can also occur if the pen falls and strikes point-first, but even with a broken felt tip, you can still draw with it, so long as you don't scrape the metal ferrule into the paper. Practice a light pressure and delicate stroke when using these pens and they will last through many drawings before the ink runs out. Highly recommended!

Must p-have pens for artists
Industry standard pens for artists. I have been using them for close to 30 years.

Good product
I use these pens all the time to do art work. The 005 has the fine line I need and the ink is permanent and dries quickly. I can erase a pencil sketch underneath and once dry, the ink will not smear. It's easier to use these pens than the ones you can refill - the finer the line the harder refillable ones are to clean and keep from clogging. I like these pens.

Dried up lasted less than 5 minutes.
Sakura Pigma Micron pens 005 have been my favorite to use for my pen & ink artwork. Lately I've noticed that they run out of ink fairly quickly. This last order of 8 pens arrived in a plastic bag instead of a box. The first 2 pens i used were dried out and not usable. I did not try any of the remaining 6 pens. I applied for a refund and will now take them to Staples to have them returned. I'm extremely disappointed and hope I don't need to find another brand for my artwork.
