This product is fantastic and ideal! My 8 year old, 15 lb, Maine Coon is very skittish and impossible for me to clip her nails on my own. It took me less than 2 minutes to get her strapped in, even as unhappy as she was. Once she was hooked up and dangling, the growling and hissing completely ceased and it took me 5 minutes, stress free to clip all the nails on all 4 paws. Now she can get back to making biscuits without getting all caught up on the blankets. I purchased the size Small (Up to 30 lbs). The clippers included are very fabulous, but more appropriate for a dog as they were a bit too large. I used my own. The included nail file and comb are lovely. Absolutely excellent value for the price. So pleased with this product.

We have a 112 pound Great Dane mix. We have never been able to trim her nails. We hooked this up to a chain around a ceiling beam in our barn. It takes two strong men to hoist her up but it works great. She is so used to it now that she doesn’t fight us any more!

I thought to get one size larger and fold it for a smaller dog but that doesn't work. Will have to exchange to a medium. My Havenese love it and was great not having to chase her around. My Morkie had a fit! I still think it a good product. Soft but strong fabric w neck support. Make sure to get the right size.

For the first time since rescuing my little guy a year ago, I cut and ground his nails in minutes. We had been driving him to the groomer where there's always a newbie cutting nails and they usually forget one or two, and my dog gets so stressed he even pooped the floor last time. I set up a spot with all my tools and some snacks at hand. We had tried the hammock on him the night I got it, and he thought it was a toy. Today putting it on was a breeze. I have a spot in my laundry room where I could hang it with his feet near my eye level. After a couple of clips, I rewarded him. Then we cut several more, then a reward. I thought for certain he'd squirm when I got out the grinder and turned it on. He was perfect! No nips, no wiggling, no whining, no fear, no unhappiness. I wish I had gotten it before. It would have saved me about $250 at the groomer.

I had great hopes for this sling. My older boy had been my biggest challenge, as he was not able to develop some important social skills during his previous owner's fatal illness A combination of "cooperative care" techniques and the sling, actually allowed me to trim his nails without sedation for the first time in years. I was so excited! The carabiner clips that came with the product should never have been included, as they were dangerously weak. Having read previous reviews, I was thankfully, prepared with heavy duty clips that could hold his weight. Our older girl was not thrilled, but I got her nails done in record time without having to lean over and stress my back. Yay! By the time I'd finished with her, though, I noticed that the sling had stretched considerably. My 2 young adult girls, did not appreciate the sling at all. They were both able to thrash about and turn their heads enough to fold them back into the sling. The sling continued to stretch and began to give the last dog a wedgie which finally prompted me to release her. The material is an abrasive mesh that actually rubbed the skin off her girl bits and inner thighs in under 5 minutes. I would not recommend this product even though it helped with 2 of my dogs. The substandard quality and abrasiveness of the fabric lead me to believe that I will only be able to use this safely a couple more times.

Very helful with my dog in nail trimming she would not hold still if she was just standing on the table

I used this XL size for my 80 lb lab. You first have to put hooks in your ceiling. I had to get two lengths of chain to hang from the hooks, not included. The blue fabric seems sturdy enough. It wasn't entirely clear which end is the front or the back. There are two fabric straps you then put an s hook on and attach to the chain. It came with hooks that did bend pretty easily,, so I replaced with more sturdy s hooks. It did take two people to get the dog in the harness, and then hoisted up onto the chains. At first he hated it and flailed around, and eventually did calm down and just hang there.Overall, once you get used to it and your dog gets used to it, it does do the job, but if your dog is large, it is not a one person operation. However, it is easier to use this and grim and grind the dogs nails, rather than wrestling him on the ground like a wild kangaroo. Would use again, just maybe I could use a Large, not an extra large. Plan on buying stronger hooks and a chain to hang it and something to hang from in the ceiling. Happy nail trimming. ps, I wouldn't use for goats that are pregnant as it does put a lot of weight on the stomach.

For the first time since owning my dog, I was able to clip her nails! It’s a miracle. I removed stuff from my closet, put her in the hammock and hung her from my clothes rail. Worked well and it’s so much faster than taker her to PetSmart.Only feedback is that I wish the front and back had Velcro to enclose. While she wasn’t able to escape I still thing Velcro closing would be more secure.

Estoy muy satisfecha con la hamaca. Es de material resistente y viene con los dos ganchitos. Me gusto que las asas son de tela tipo lona y se ven mejores y más resistentes que otras hamacas que tienen sólo los agujeros en la tela. Yo lo uso para inyectar a mi perrito y hasta ahora no he tenido ningún problema. Considero que soporta el peso de mascotas de menos de 8 o 9 kilos.

It was slighly a bit big for my two pugs. They fit until i started cutting their nails and they squermed and squeeze their way out of it whilst screaming like banchies. I love the idea, my dogs just absolutely hate getting their nails cut.
