This was a good solution to my need for a component input on my new TV. I connected this box into a component to HDMI converter and now I have 3 component devices connected to a single HDMI input on my tv.

Great product at a good price - now able to connect three retro game systems into one component input on my tv. The systems look so much better with component cables I’m done looking (for now😁) for upscale. This switcher feels solid and works great.

I have a lot of retro consoles. I needed a way to hook up a PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360 via component to my HDTV. Unplugging and plugging in these every time I wanted to use a console was just going to be downright annoying. So I saw this and the price was right so figured why not. I spent what I saved on this on very good quality cables. My first impressions was just sheer laughter. It was light and definitely built cheaply. I took a look at the instructions and it was hands down the worst translations I've ever seen from a Chinese product. They were laughably useless and we're in complete jibberish. But this switch is simple. Plug in your cables for your devices and plug in a cable from the box to the TV and you're good to go. You can't screw it up if you tried. Otherwise, this thing works quite well. I didn't notice any image quality issues or anything. So I'd say this was a good buy.I do have a couple issues with it though that leads me to deduct a star. Really, the only reason I deducted a star is because it slides very easy on my TV stand when I press a button. Because it's light and it has no rubber feet to keep it from sliding, you have to hold it when changing sources. It's no big deal to buy some adhesive rubber strips to slap on the bottom, but that is something that should have been included with the build. Also the switches are pretty tinny feeling but hey, for the price I'm not knocking it for that since they do work fine.In conclusion, for the price this works well. I'm satisfied and I do recommend it. There's more expensive switches on the market but I don't see any reason for me to upgrade right now. We'll see if it lasts because it is cheaply made. But again, for the price, this works for me.

I got this because my CRT tv only had one component input and i wanted to stop switching the cables connected to the tv for a PS2, Sega Saturn, and Sega Genesis. This works perfectly and there is no image quality reduction which was my biggest concern. Great for retro systems!

What I like is that this device doesn’t need a power supply at all! This is the reason I decided to pick it up because I just don’t have room to plug in another box. It’s pretty easy to use and simply plug and play. There’s 3 inputs and 1 output. If you grab the 18” cables Amazon recommends with this then be sure to separate them apart so they’re easier to work with. I have my Wii, Xbox, and PSP/PS2 plugged into this. I wish there were 4 inputs but this’ll work just fine. No noticeable lag or loss in video quality. No added noise etc since there’s no power to the device. Just keep in mind your total length from console to tv.

For the price, this mechanical switcher is durable and has good video/audio quality. This a great entry level device for anyone needing a switcher on a budget. I have this connected to an RetroTink 5x (upscaler) and three older consoles. After a year of usage, I have two recommendations:First recommendation is to apply non-slip pads to this device as it slides alot on smooth surfaces or during connection set-up. Second recommendation is to use good video cables to get the most out this device and your retro consoles.

This item works great. I'm using HD Retrovision cables and a Retrotink 2X, games have been perfect. There was no noticeable lag with rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution or Beatmania IIDX, easily hitting every note like a direct connection.I do suggest getting some small legs to stick onto the bottom. Its very light weight, but it does exactly what it should and at a great price.
