Bought this pack of 50 steristrips (5 packs of 10 strips) after a HTO knee operation as the incision wound took longer than expected to knit together and heal. These were the same brand that I received from the wound clinic, only longer, which saved me a trip going back to the clinic to restock. I cut each 10cm wide (by 3mm deep) strip down to get either 2 or 3 sticky stitches out of each strip so they weren't wrapping round my leg loads (reducing them froom 10cm to either 5cm or c3.5 cm). They really held the skin together well and stayed stuck flat on my skin for days without lifting so I could remove the dressing and let it air/heal. Despite stickly strongly on the skin, it was easy and painless to remove and change them after brief showers. A gentle rub on the end of each strip until it started to lift, then gently lifting it up until it came off. My wound healed really well in the end, leaving a tidy thin scar and I have lots of sealed packs of steristrips left in my first aid kit now so am prepared if the family get any cuts in future that need closing up. Very happy with my value for money, top quality purchase, which I'm happy to recommend to others.

I find steri strips hugely helpful. I sliced a chunk of skin off my thumb and put a plaster on it. After changing the plaster as the wound bled, 24 hours later the wound was still bleeding. I bought the steri strips which stopped the wound bleeding and it is now healing well.

I find these much better than using plasters for small or superficial cuts. They allow better movement around joints on fingers and being almost translucent it is easy to see if it is still bleeding. They are also easier to remove, causing little tearing of delicate skin.

Got quite a bad laceration and it held it together Really well. Only thing I would say is that if your wound bleeds of weeps, it looses its stickiness. Recommend a plaster over the top as well as can be quite easy to catch. Other than that recommend.
