The batteries are as follows: 2.87 Lbs. (1.30 Kg), 4.96 lb. (2.25Kg) 6.39 lb., (2.90), 7.72 Lb. (3.50Kg.) 2.5Ah, 5Ah, 7.5Ah, 10Ah, respectively. The string trimmers are 7.28 and 7.50 lb. The lighter one is likely the non-folding model. This information is from the manual that comes with the unit.I'm not sure you can load the cutting line manually. My trimmer works well. I'm happy with it.
