Q: This thing is not worth 800 dollars, you are truly overvaluing what this watch is worth?

Luminox is a fairly decent brand but the guy comparing it to a certain luxury car maker? That’s absolutely inapposite. Ditto for the purported watch snob below claiming a Swiss made ETA movement warrants this price. A Swiss Steinhart Ocean 1 Vintage series, for example, uses an ETA movement (2824-2/SW) also and runs about $450. You can find more expensive ETA movements, but this isn’t one of them. That said you can currently find this watch from a certified Luminox dealer for a little over $500 if you look around, and at that price it’s a solid deal.

Q: I know how to change date. How do I change day?

Pull the time set half way out one way sets date opposite way sets day.

Q: Does anyone know the lug to lug measurement for this one?

Q: Some of the days on the watch seem to be in another language. for instance, sunday is "sam". what language is this? anything i can do??

There's nothing to "do" about it. Most day-date watches have the day in 2 languages. The other language is probably Spanish, German or French. Just don't set it to the other language if you want it to display English.
