I'm very disappointed with this pump. I wanted a compact pump for my kayak and decided on purchasing the best marine pump. First time I used it it worked well. The second time I went to use it, the handle had resistance to it. Two pumps in the handle came out of the body. I can't believe how brittle this pump was. I own other larger pumps for 10 plus years that function to this day after both salt and fresh water use like the day I bought them. This pump fell apart after one use. The only reccomendation I can make is look at other brands. I will have to buy another pump and best marine bilge will never be a consideration in the future. If this pump failed during an emergency, it would have been bad. I'm glad it failed when bailing out my kayak after a bad rainstorm. Shame on you best marine for compromising your patrons safety with a faulty product.

I used this hand pump twice in my small boat to pump out rain water. On the second use the handle snapped off, see photos. Poor grade quality. I've asked the seller for a refund, hopefully their customer service does the right thing here. I'll need a new bilge hand pump for my boat now.

Fewer than ten uses and the plunger diaphragm snapped off the handle shaft. Off to the trash.

I bought this as a backup to my electric bilge pump in my open fishing boat. Handy size, Moves a lot of water fast. Seems very durable. Nice product. Decent value for the money.

Having the hose makes all the difference in the world. It is easy to swap the hose from the intake to the expel sides.

I had to have someone come and do it for me and even they had a time pushing it in and out. However it does remove the water all the way down.

Works well. A bit awkward to use.
