Used these to couple Cat 6 video cameras in a crawl space. So far these have worked great.

Use these devices for line splices on Cat5e/6 cable in the outdoor environs. They make extensions/repairs a simple task. No failures to date and we have survived many rain storms.

These do not have shielding, which I knew, but would be nice if they did for splicing shielded CAT5 but that is not that often.

Easily fits over standard terminated ethernet cable. The glands are split so they can easily go around your cables. If you have stress relief cables you will have to shave off the stress relief or reterminate the cable. I use them for outdoor POE IP equipment with no problems due to weather.

JA, der stinknormale Netzwerkstecker passt da nicht rein.JA, auch ich dachte "Null Problemo".JA, es gibt tatsächlich riesige (!) Buchsen, in die man die üblichen Stecker stopfen kann. Kenne ich aber nur vom US Markt.Man kaufe sich eine Crimpzange für ca. 15.00€ einige Stecker (60Stck. für ca. 09,00€) und gut ist. Kein Hexenwerk- gibt genug YT Videos die alles erklären!Habe mittlerweile rund 50 (!) von diesen Buchsen im Einsatz - PERFEKT!

Ich konnte nicht einen RJ45-Stecker finden, der so kurz wäre, dass er in das Gehäuse passt. Flache Kabel oder dünne Kabel (Patchkabel, CAT5e-Verlegekabel) werden nicht dicht verschlossen. Für Ethernet daher ungeeignet.Die Verarbeitung ist eigentlich gut. Mit passenden Kabeln wäre das Produkt brauchbar. Daher zwei Sterne.
