WinfloWinflo 30 In. Convertible Under Cabinet Range Hood in White with Mesh Filters and Push Buttons

This vent hood looks nice, works well and doesn't make too much noise.I rarely use the stove so I have probably only used the hood vent/lights 15 or so times since installation.Today, I tried to turn the lights on and neither of them worked. I have no idea what happened. This thing is just over a year old and, with such little use, should not be giving me any problems. I sure would like to find out what is going on but I can't find a place to contact the seller--Winflo. Anyone at Winflo want to help me?I can't recommend this product with this problem happening to me.

So It is a rangehood and it looks great and it does work. It was easy to install and it was a decent value. So those get 5-stars. Let me tell you why the overall rating is only 3-stars. First, the fan itself is in the back left corner, not in the center. I primarily use my front right burner because it is my big one. The fan pulls about half of what it should most of the time it seems. The fan should be centered. 3-speeds? Not exactly, It has 3 buttons that change the sound slightly but don't seem to change the pull much from 1-3. Last, it is noisy, even as far as range hoods go. This thing is loud on 1 and loud on 3. The lights are good.

As far as design is concerned the exhaust air is vented directly above the hood which, if all grease is not caught by the filters. will be drive grease on and into the cabinets above. Also like another reviewer I see there is a blemish on the hood's metal which I didn't see until installing. Like her I am afraid it is rust under the surface which will peal the paint. Also the push button that controls the light works but only if you push it a certain way. I would not buy this again.

I bought this to replace my old dated range hood, and was very pleased with the design. However, the actual construction is not optimal: The fan inlet is not sitting in the center of the unit, but rather sits on the left side, so the right side has pretty much no pull whatsoever. This is hardly ideal given that my range has burners on both sides. In addition, the lights it comes with are fairly dim, which doesn't make using the range a whole lot easier during cooking.It's a good-looking range, no doubt, but it isn't built with actually using it for cooking in mind.

This range hood looks great. Installation was a problem because it did not come with a round damper! Had to drive a long way, in this rural area, to find one. This part is not carried by home centers. Got tired of being told "range hoods all come with a damper". Finally had to go to an A/C fabrication shop to get a damper. My installer was left cooling his heels for hours, waiting. The boasted, single person installation hardware was cumbersome at best and was not used. Fan box is off to one side. This causes the air flow to only go up half of the two filters. Quite loud at high speed, the fan "squirrel cage" is badly out of round and contributing to the noise at high speed. Lights are dim, but barely adequate. Quality inside the unit is low, buttons are clunky, but unit looks good installed. Could have bought a much cheaper range hood with the same or better results. The non-vented option is well hidden and this range hood has pleasing lines. Glad there are no labels visible on the installed unit. I'll spend a lot more on my next range hood to try getting a little more quality, next time. Meanwhile, this will do the job. All I can say is that it looks nice.

VERY NICE UNIT FOR THE MONEY. I HAVE FRAMED CABINETS AND INSTALLED THE BRACKETS FOR THAT. WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A ONE MAN INSTALLATION.COULD NOT GET THE TEMPORARY CLIP TO LINE UP PROPERLY. MOVED IT AWAY FRO THE WALL OF THE CABINET ABOUT A 1/4 INCH AND IT LINED UP. CLIP STILL WOULD NOT ENGAGE TO HOLD THE UNIT IN PLACE TEMPORARILY. GAVE UP AND JUST USED SCREWS TO MOUNT THE UNIT. SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT AND NOT INSTALLED THE BRACKETS FROM THE START. MUCH EASIER TO JUST USE SCREWS IN THE SLOTS PROVIDED.

Looks GREAT - fairly quiet - lights on unit LED and can be vented to the outside. This is so much better in appearance than the cheap looking stove vents you find in stores. Very impressive mesh filters that are easy to remove for cleaning. Don't appear to be prone to the crunching and deforming that other filters suffer from with age. I'll update after strong use of product. So far - 5 star.

When I came home from a long trip to Asia. My husband cleaned the kitchen and installed this new fan. I love it! It is very basic but functional and easy to use. The fan has 3 speeds so you can choose depend on what you are cooking.
