Got this as a gift for my baby brother.... Ended up also playing it with my 22yo+ friends over and over. The game is a lot of fun and the extra challenge for adults adds more joy. I will say that we amended some rules as we progressed. Also ended up using the gloves for some other games. Honestly, great buy for kids or adults. Hilarity will ensure! (8 year old had a lot of fun with it too!)

We played this game on Thanksgiving with a variety of ages from 11 - 52 and had a blast! It kind of reminded us with Cranium as far as the challenages go with the addition of being thumb-less! I read negative reviews as far as a missing timer?? First, each challenge has its own time limit so the traditional "hour glass" timer wouldn't work, and, who doesn't have and use the timers on their phones???I'm glad we took a chance on this game!

I got this for my 8 year old soon for Christmas as he loves games and is always looking for new ones that will challenge him... at first, he started out loving this game. He found it super entertaining to watch me and my parents (his grandparents) try and do silly things without the use of our thumbs... but when he had to compete against us, it was a different story... he got really frustrated incredibly quickly.I would likely recommend for ages 10+, unless the kid handles losing like a champ.Also, I think the straps you use to disable your thumb is designed for larger hands than those of an 8 year old. It didn't do the best job as securing his thumbs so he couldn't use them while simultaneously not preventing him from moving his fingers as well.Otherwise, it's a great and really entertaining game! I'd play it at a drunken party with adults or on a family game night with older kids.

My kids enjoyed it the first 2-3 times they played. The problem is the bands you put on your hands don't work so well and the tasks on the cards are extremely repetitive. And the players judge the other players and that's how points are awarded most of the time. There are cards that are different but there doesn't seem to be very many of those. The idea of this game is fun but it needs to be a bit redesigned.

I bought this game for my family and they absolutely love it!! It is so much fun to play together and some of the things that are drawn or made are hilarious! It functions very well as an ice breaker sort of game as it brings out the silly side in every body playing!

We played this game with kids & adults at a Christmas party. My family really had fun playing it so we ordered it for game nights at home. Would be a great gift idea for kids.

Get a Grip was purchased as a gift for my daughter. So far, we have had a lot of fun with it and it has added life to our game shelf! You'd be surprised just how much you need your thumb for the various activities/challenges! We have had many laughs with this game and I hope you will too! We found it to be a great game for the entire family!

This game is super fun for Saturday Night game night. The only problem for us is that there are only 3 of us playing so we have to judge each other a bit. My son is only 12 and does not like to lose.Other than that this game is everything they say. It is super fun finding all the little items you will need to play. And working with the clay is such a blast.

Fun game for families and can be understood by little ones too. Good for a laugh

This is a great game, unless you gift it to somebody who lost their thumbs in a horrible farming accident. It's important to be kind, but it is also important to be conscious of the physical limitations of those around you. Sometimes it's a fine line between a good natured gift and a cold reminder of the life a person was once able to live. Tread carefully. 10/10 for the thumbed 0/10 for the unthumbed.
