Q: How does the timer attach to the band?

you have to take the clip off, but it just slides right into the watch band and locks very nicely.

Never thought to measure and bought the smaller. It's adjustable, so while it does fit, I would say it's a bit tighter than I prefer so I bought the larger one. I don't think I have a particularly big wrist. Male, 5' 11" but no idea what my wrist size is.

Yes the plastic mounting is the same size as the gym boss it clips on but you can still change the battery with it connected

I have a seven inch wrist and it fits fine.The strap measures nine inches in length. Since I purchased awhile ago, I think I purchased the large. I think you will be okay with the large. Also, the timer fits fine. However, at times it has a tendency to loosen. Make sure to it is tight prior to each use. I like the product. I hope it helps.

Benutze diese Uhr nun seit einigen Wochen im Fitness Studio und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Ich verwende nur den Vibrationsalarm zusammen mit dem Countdown-Modus. Da ich dort mit einem Zeitlimit trainiere, würde ein akustisches Alarmsignal sehr stören. Das Display ist groß und kontraststark genug um immer alles gut abzulesen.Fazit: tolles Gerät mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
