Amazing product
I have been extremely impressed by the quality and performance of the Thunder Blade. When fully assembled it has an good feel in the hand. Not to heavy not to light. The blade comes sharp and ready to use and from what I have seen from it it is high quality steel. The battery powering the arcs is quite long living since uts unboxing a week ago I have yet to charge it or notice a decrease in performance despite extensive use.As for the Arcs themselves I have been highly impressed as I mentioned earliar. They ignite everything extremely quickly and look impressive as wellThe only thing I have noticed with this work of art is the cap covering the lighter performs exactly as It needs to but prevents using the lighter upside down. I often light candles with the Thunder Blade but the cap restrict movement.Honeslty not an issue. I gust light a sliver of wood and use it as a match. Works perfectly for me.

Honesty
I like this product. That said im not sure who the target consumer is as a guy who goes camping 8-10 time a year or more if i can, the cap on top gets in the way, starting a propane stove is tricky and the button is too close to the top were you feel the heat. Its not bad but it makes it a little hard. If the cap were able to move all the way back and the button placed lower i think it would be a 5 star product.

I’m happy
I like this thing, well made, machined well with good threads, nice and solid. It does have room for improvement though, first as other people have said the cap would be so much better if it was removable or folded all the way down so it didn’t get in the way of the lighter, and it’s just begging for a flashlight, it has the battery power and the shape, and it’s called a saberLIGHT... not that I thought it had a light on it but it would just be so nice and really make this a super useful survival and backpacking tool. The blades fine, it’s a nice edge, it’s solid if you tighten the blade down, and seems strong enough for basic things you’d need it for like shaving some kindling or cutting some line. 4 stars because i think the lighter portion could be better designed and more functional, and would be awesome if it was one of those domed arcs that you can use to light anything a lighter can like a pipe or cigar. If you want it get it, there’s no deal breakers here and I’m keeping it =)

Awesome, though bigger than expected
Ok, I legitimately chuckled when I opened the box. It's very well packaged, nice gift quality presentation, comes with a little microfiber carrying pouch and was fully charged in the lighter portion on arrival, but:It was about 4 times bigger than I expected. Now THIS is 100%my bad for assuming based on the pictures rather than reading the actual dimensions, but I pictured a pocket sized maybe the circumference of my middle finger. This is more like a small baton. So while my initial thought of this being a pocket carry type item is not gonna work out, the good news is it would make a heck of a fist loader if you were in such a situation. It's a full size blade rather than the exacto size I expected, so that offers more use in sure. All in all very solid product, just be aware it is not a palm/pocket size tool for a compact EDC kit

Cool tool Good price! Awesome tool with a little tweaking!
Really Neat tool! The lighter works great. Knife needed a little file work to remove a small blanking error at false edge transition, I also drilled down into the threading and tapped hole for a set screw to keep knife from loosening if used hard and added a divot in the exterior casing so that edge of blade can be indexed non visually. If I was manufacturing it I would add light knurling or texture to the smooth barrel portions so there is some grip. There is little to no grippability from factory. I fixed this on mine with a little hockey grip tape. Definitely worth the price though! The lighter alone is so cool I will probably wear it out playing. With a little o-ring searching and such I plan to make mine waterproof as well. Thanks to seller!

Poor design and came broken..
Using only a 'Type A' USB Port to charge, instead of a mini or micro cable port as nearly all other products do, means you can only charge this item when at a location with a Hub or PC. Useless if you find the lighter dead and want to use your portable Power Bank, Car AC, or USB Survival Radio to feed a few seconds of life into the device to start a fire. Hardly makes it worthy of the term 'survival item'.The USB section comes with the single, tiny, tiny, utterly tiny, screw holding it to the casing, a metal casing but with a plastic chassis for the USB section, and the plastic easily stripped out and the unit would simply fall out of the housing when you turned the device any direction but facing lighter side up. Poor design and even worse quality control from Saberlight. The blade in this product is not at all sharp, though it should be able to take an edge. It would be correct to say it simply rips through paper, rather than cuts it.Not at all what I would expect from a name like Saberlight. Very disappointed and will be returning it today.

Cool but not exceptional
Cool concept, but not exceptionally implemented. It's kind of bulky to begin with. The blade is a low grade steel which probably wouldn't stand up to much abuse. The body feels thin and would scratch easily. The lighter cap does not swing open 180deg which makes lighting some things very difficult or even impossible. The last thing, which is a safety feature which in my opinion shouldn't have been overlooked, is that the lighter can still function with a closed cap.
