solid choice
It’s a quality bed frame. it took about 15 minutes to get out of the packaging. it’s a very secure design. the outside box looked beat up but not a bit of damage. had it together in about 5 minutes once i got the packing off of it. Love it!!!!

Wobbly Frame Joinery Joints Overcut Obsolete Design Out of the Box
All the joinery joints are overcut. You can drop a quarter dollar between the joints. Here's the problem, the parts drop into place too easily resulting in a frame that sways and rocks in all directions. Japanese joinery relies on precise fitting of wooden components without nails or screws. If built correctly, you basically need a rubber mallet to tap pieces into place because the parts should fit tightly together. The manufacturer needs to provide some sort of shim to help snug things up and it would be 100x better. I created a system of cardboard shims between all the joinery surfaces and it's now as solid as a rock. If not willing to modify, save your money. I've got no complaint with the material itself, but the loose joinery completely makes the design obsolete out of the box.

Fast, Easy, Sturdy
I love it! It’s what I was looking for. The set up was easy. It took me less than 30 minutes without any help. Even came with a little thank you card.

Amazing
What an amazing bed! The technology and design are incredible. I’m a senior woman and I had it together in 35 min. I’m spoiled now. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a conventional bed again, The only thing that was missing on the directions were the pegs for the wood slats, but I had it figured out quite quickly, I need to mention that I have the twin bed so I could do it all by myself. What fun. Love the engineering and design.

Very solid wooden bed frame.
Came in a very large box, but I was able to move it by myself into a large room to open it in. Everything was carefully packaged, nothing damaged from transportation. The instructions at first can seem unclear because of the lack of writing, but once you have your pieces out the diagrams make perfect sense. Assembly took less than half an hour, the only hold up was that one of the screws wouldn't go all the way in, but it has no bearing on the structural integrity. It is enough support for me(135lbs) and my 85lbs dog. I believe I received a decent product. I'll update in a year.

Versus the Thuma
It's a good bed frame for the price. Unlike the Thuma this one has sharp corners, the ends where the parts click together hurts a lot whenever you bump into it. Hitting your leg on the corners of this frame is inevitable so I don't recommend it for elderly people.A note to the makers — If you're working around the Thuma patent perhaps try to make rounded corners because Ouch! this frame bruises people often!

Loud, unstable, cheap wood.
I purchased this bed in the hopes it would be perfect for my small space and I was wrong. Not only did they send the wrong color, but I could not ship it back or get any product support. It is very loud and the fittings are so loose I had to end up stuffing cardboard between the wood to quiet it a bit. Not only this, but the bed frame is unstable and I suggest getting additional support for the mattress.
