As soon as I received it, I tested it out, and it works perfectly. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Compared to other brands or USB-based options, this external version is far more discreet and less likely to be noticed, ideal if you’re looking for something subtle and undetectable.

Absolutely does what its supposed to , how did it take me so long to discover this , handy for a quick nip to the loo or a cuppa and not show off line , especially the amount of amazon deliveries I've to keep answering the door

I used the Meatanty ultra-slim mouse mover where the mouse does not touch the turn table. Unfortunately my Logitech mouse did not pick up every turn, every time. This mouse mover works every time without fail. On one turn it will turn clockwise and the next time it will turn anti-clockwise and I can see the cursor moving across the screen. It is great and I perhaps am being picky in saying this, but unlike the ultra-slim mouse mover, it does not have a random timer setting. You choose after how many seconds you want it to turn, up to a minute. As the years go by, companies could become more aware of these and start to monitor, at which point random timer settings will be needed.I am feeling much less stressed and am more productive as a result of this. In workplaces people chat at their desks and in kitchens, to break-up the monotony of work and get breaks, but when working from home it is assumed that because you have no-one to chat to, your fingers should constantly be tapping. I find myself using this to think through a complicated work task without having to consider whether I might appear as 'away' on Teams, as well as well as giving myself 'brain rests' and breaks when I have to think about complex tasks or when I want to make a drink. I have also just started using a wireless headset so that when I am making a drink or snack I do not miss a call, message or email.

I bought this device as I was tired of my laptop locking its screen after what felt like 60-seconds of no activity - whether that's due to having to read something off screen or taking a phone call.I've had it for a good few months now, and I think it works really well. It has a slow, alternating rotation and you can choose the length of the pause duration in-between.I had wondered if there would be any noticeable noise but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is. I can read through lots of documents without being distracted which is helpful.I love the size, doesn't take up too much space, which when you don't have a huge working space is really important!I've been really happy with this so far, and don't feel it's expensive for what it is.

EDIT2: the seller saw my review, they fully refunded the mouse mover and sent me a different model which I have yet to try. Fantastic customer service.EDIT: after using for a short while, it’s developed a very high pitch sound which is terrible! Headache material.Works well. You can adjust the amount of time between ‘moves’ from 0-60 seconds in 5 second intervals.I use this to prevent my screen going off when I’m busy working on another computer, meaning I have to enter my credentials multiple times per day despite not having moved from the seat! Drives me mad, so this solves that.My only criticism and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s too big. For comparison I have another that I’ve used for a long time, it’s got a bit grindy and noisy hence me wanting a new one, old one is much smaller and more compact.
