Used it to detect cracks in translucent structure.
Works perfectly for what I needed it for! Someone recommended it for use for crack detection, and it worked great. The beam was solid, allowing for cracks to be visible when aimed through a translucent material.

It works well both on rifles and handgun barrels. And it a neat flshlight

Very good, very useful and great value
Such a simple little light has come in handy for me now so many times. The durability of the flashlight itself was surprising to me considering the price point. The light bending attachment has made bore inspections so easy, this has found a permanent place on my workbench. I may buy another to toss into my range bag.

Original Battery exploded inside
Had this for 10 months. Used it maybe 5 times for a total of 5 minutes+-. Stored inside. The last time I used it was about 5 months ago and it worked fine. Tried it today and it didn't work, so I tried to unscrew it to change the battery with no luck. I had to put it in a vise and use plyers to open it. You can see how hard I had to twist, and what it looked like when I finally got it opened. My advice is change the battery when you get it. You don't know how old it is!!! So far they have not responded to my email!
