Great printer and scanner. Fast, good quality prints. Software is easy to use. Just about small amount for home use on my desk. Good value for money.

Paper feeder capacity not as described
The description about the input sheets of up to 850 is misleading, and it should be made clear to customers. I have found out that you need an extra paper feeder for that: Canon PF-K1 Paper Feeder 5693C001, which has a capacity for 500 sheets.The paper feeder of this printer is only for 250 sheets. And that is disappointing and any further accessory needed should be made clear.Canon has failed in properly describing this product in Amazon marketplaceAlso, the front cover seems a bit loose, and it does not fit tight when closed. Is it supposed to be like that or it is a fault

Not Apple Mac Friendly
This printer is a real pain. It is not Apple Mac, iOS, friendly. I spent the whole day pulling my hair out and swearing at it... My macbook sees it only when its 'ON' i.e. not on standby or asleep waiting otherwise it shows up as Offline. I spent hours trying to find a solution, to eventually manually inputting the printer IP address. Now it prints no problem.Second issue was scanning. Could not get it to work at all through the Remote UI, not via email, not via direct link to my macbook not by even file name. The only way to get it to scan is manually waking it up by physically touching the Home screen, then it lights up on my macbook i.e. Online, and I use the scanner tab in the printer system section. There is no software from Cannon for the Macbook for this. I also installed the driver from the Cannon website too...I am an average joe and not an IT wizard but I think I'm fairly competent at setting my own tech up, but clearly not, in this case. Would I recommend it? Hell NO! not for iOS users. I hate it. My old HP printer was far more user friendly but again I had the problem of it being always Offline without a manual switch on and off....
