Phrozen Functional TR300 - The Heatwave Hero of Resins
Meet the Phrozen Functional TR300, the resin that’s not just heat resistant, it’s practically a superhero in the world of 3D printing. With the ability to withstand temperatures up to a scorching 156°C, this resin laughs in the face of heatwaves.First off, let’s talk about its heat resistance. This resin could probably sunbathe on the surface of Venus and still come back looking fabulous. It’s so tough, you could print your own oven mitts and grab your cookies straight out of the oven. (Disclaimer: Please don’t actually try this at home.)The TR300 is like the Chuck Norris of resins; it doesn’t get hot, the heat gets TR300-ed. It’s perfect for creating parts that need to endure the kind of temperatures that would make a sauna feel like a refrigerator. And the best part? It’s called “Functional” for a reason. This isn’t just a show-off on the thermal runway; it’s got the strength and durability to back up its heat-defying bravado. It’s like the bodybuilder of resins, flexing its muscular polymers at every opportunity. In conclusion, if you’re looking to print something that can handle the heat without getting out of the kitchen, the Phrozen Functional TR300 is your go-to resin. Just remember, while it can handle the heat, it still can’t fix your burnt toast. Happy printing, and may your creations be as cool as they are hot! 🔥🖨️Remember, in the world of 3D printing, the Phrozen TR300 isn’t just making waves – it’s making heatwaves bearable.

Great for my Dental Office Suction Attachment
Printed a couple suction attachments for my dental office that can be sterilized. They work great!

Can withstand autoclaving!
A fantastic, heat resistant resin. Prints perfectly on my Anycubic M3 Plus. The best thing for me is that it can even withstand autoclaving. Most resins crack after a few cycles, but not this one. Looking forward to trying to make some injection molds with it.

Fast, but brittle. Viable for cosplay & rapid prototyping. Not for minis.
I have a Sonic Mega 8K printer, and I'm a cosplayer, so when Phrozen announced this product I was interested in trying it. I can confirm it does indeed print much faster than the average resin. This is mostly due to printing at a lower resolution. On average you're probably printing at 50 microns; this resin you're printing at 150 microns. It is noticeably low viscosity and semi-translucent.Knowing that, this is not a resin that is meant for printing minis, or small highly detailed objects. This works well for larger objects that have less intricate details and it does indeed do that well. Cosplay armor? Props? This'll do. You're trading speed for detail here and it makes sense.Downside- it is brittle. Supports are noticeably harder to remove in my experience. They do not peel off as easy and require more heat than the average resin. If snipping supports, that experience is about the same. It is also pricy compared to other resin options. But if you need large parts fast, this might be for you.I'll continue to test and will update if anything changes.

Impressive resin!!!
Very slow printing but well worth the wait. Excellent resolution, strong!!!

Holds up against high temp as advertised
Unlike many other resins that advertise high HDTs, this one actually holds it shape well when exposed to high temperatures (we tested in a hot car in the sun and in an oven). The color should probably be labeled silver, rather than gray, as it's fairly close to white. I would say that fine details are below average compared to most resins.I used 2.8s/layer on the Uniz IBEE (mono). Be sure to clean and cure the parts quickly, these parts seem more prone to warp than normal. The biggest downside for our purposes is how hard this resin is; it's glass-like in its rigidity so don't expect any flex, bending, threads, snaps, or anything of the sort. It will just fracture or break. To counter this, we mixed 2-parts this resin with 1-part Additive Plus's black Flex resin. Mix well; poor mixing caused a failure in one of our tests. The result has almost perfect qualities for functional parts, a nice balance of hardness and toughness with high temperature features. This mixture took a little longer exposure time that most functional resins we've tested (3.2s/layer on an IBEE - most functional resins take ~2.8s/layer).

Does everything it claims and works amazing!
This is awesome and Phrozen has yet to let me down. I've used this and their standard 8k resin and they both produce excellent detail and excellent strength characteristics. I have a pretty standard settings arrangement on my mighty 8K and both resins have instantly works regardless of print, I tried another brands resin for the black friday prices at the exact same settings and everything either failed or printed at lower quality and was EXTREMELY brittle. This company is my favorite and I will always recommend them! The ONLY con that I can think of is the clean-up process. This resin does seem to want to stay on the finished prints even after a good alcohol and cure. Just be wary that you will need a good post-clean process to be able to handle/post-edit the prints. STILL EXTREMELY WORTH IT.

Extremely easy printing and cleanup, low viscosity for great accuracy
This stuff has printed extremely well for us. Settings are easy and the speed is fast compared to other high temp resin options. The low viscosity means that the build plate doesn't run into such huge hydraulic resistance as other high temp resins, which results in very nice accuracy and allows for printing on larger printers with less issues (Big build plate means big pushback on FEP and plate with higher viscosity resins).
