What's not to like
Works great with a strong flow. I love how you can easily adjust the direction and move the base outside of the tank with it's magnetic base.

Perfect circulator pump
Quiet pump and just the right power for my 55gal.tank

Ceramic shafts are great until you break them 😢
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought both sizes of this and the smaller ones are very quiet the medium sized one not so much. The magnet is strong and it puts out good water flow. I just have one problem... I went to clean it and I broke the ceramic shaft in the process. 😢 Is there a way to get replacements?

Awesome wave maker
Added this to a 40 gallon mbuna tank. They love the current and the flow pointing up to the top of the tank creates good movement and no dead spots on my sand bottom. Highly recommendAnother review mentioned these were very loud but they appeared to be testing them in a metal sink and not mounted properly. I would say mount it properly in a tank and try it first. Mine is absolutely silent and works as it should.

Really REALLY Bad...
First, this thing is absolutely HUGE to have as little flow as it does. The ad says up to 40 gallons, there is absolutely NO WAY this is adiquite for anything bugger than 15-20 gallons and even then its so big that it makes no sense. I bought it to use in a 30-gallon reservoir where I mix my salt water because I wanted something cheap and simple. This aint it. Instead of sending it back, I put it in one of the chambers of my sump to get some surface agitation. That's about all its good for.

Work great and quiet.
Powerheads work great as a 5 gal. saltwater mixer. Very quiet pumps.

Works fine but with a frustrating quirk
It works fine for the most part until there is any sort of power disruption, then the fan blade reverses direction and starts sucking in water. Only fix is to unplug and plug back in (after realizing it's done this)
