Love it
Bought for the different track list than American release. And it was cheaper than the domestic version.

Very Overpriced 3 cd collection - it sadly missed the mark!
The album description indicates the songs were hand picked from every album from over their 50 years!?! There’s not a single song from the Steve Morse era (Power / In The Spirit Of Things). I was thinking this collection would have been a 3cd - all inclusive, expanded greatest hits. It sadly missed the mark for me without including tracks like the original Dust In The Wind, All I Wanted, etc.

Very Good but not my favorite collection of Kansas songs.
This is a really good collection, but I could have done better. There are some critical songs from Leftoverture and POKR that are missing. Only 3 songs each from the first 5 albums, which are incredible, and 3 songs (and not necessarily the 3 best songs) from the rather disappointing Audio-Visions, Vinyl Confessions, Drastic Measures. etc.??? Since they were limited to only 3 CD's, I can see why they excluded the subpar Steve Morse-era songs, but I'm sure there will be a few that are upset by this decision. (Power was better than Soirit.) It would have been nice if they had included their incredible version of Eleanor Rigby, but I was glad to see that they included "Angels Have Fallen" from Monolith (a very underrated song), but why not A Glimpse of Home?) As far as Kansas compilations go, I prefer the 2 CD box set from the early 1990's and the 3 disc set that followed a few years later (only 2 CD's, but it had a DVD full of old videos and live performances.) However, I understand the need for this collection since those previous collections didn't include any new material released in the last 2 decades. Overall., its a very good collection, but imho, it just could have been a little bit better. One thing is certain, Kansas has many stellar songs and there is no way to get every Kansas fan's favorite song on a 3 CD set..

Just How Many GREATEST HITS packages does one person need?
There are MANY MANY MANY Greatest Hits packages that a KANSAS fan can choose from. Some have several additional tracks (that had not been released) to make the purchase worthwhile. This version has 6 songs from the newest line-up with Ronnie Platt on vocals, so new fans of the band will be delighted. Older fans are tired of forking over the money for yet another HITS package. As for the ONE new track added to bait you into buying this, just go with the original version of CAN I TELL YOU, with the original 6 members featuring the ONLY KANSAS vocalists fit for the band, STEVE WALSH and ROBBY STEINHARDT. And while this band has some great musicians, they aren't the KANSAS of old. It's what it is, and it's great they are still writing and recording new music, but this particular release is simply a money grab. HOW MANY VERSIONS OF CARRY ON WAYWARD SON do they expect us to buy? They have dismissed the fans who got them here. As for a fair-weather fan, this DOES have a selection of songs from all periods of the band EXCEPT from POWER and IN THE SPIRIT OF THINGS. Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan since the first album was released and buy all the albums, but it's a HARD PASS on this one!
