Perfect little feeder.
Updated after months of use. This is a great feeder. So good in fact that I bought two!If I was picky there are a couple of niggles. Firstly the water is not easy to change, the birds are a nightmare for dropping seeds and nuts and whatnot in there so it needs cleaning every couple of days. The problem with this design is that you can't clean the water out easily without the cleaning the seed also. You dump it all or nothing, which feels a little wasteful as I never let the feeder get completely empty. The other isn't so much a niggle as a positioning issue. It's great at attracting birds, but not always the birds you want. I've had a couple of magpies and pigeons who figure a way to jump on top of the feeder to get at the fatballs. Which meant I've lost the green edge off the top of one. The second feeder I placed in a different window, unfortunately given the large ledge below it, the seagulls loved that one! Their trick eventually was to just stand under the feeder, jump up and whack all the seed out!. One of them even stole one of the fatball holders off it also. So I guess that the story here is that positioning is everything. Good news is that I've put some fatballs in another feeder that the magpie can get to a little easier, so it seems to have left the window feeder alone now.So good side of that I guess is that the suckers work well, it can hold the weight of a plump pigeon or decent sized magpie pretty well. Bad side is that birds are tricky little things and will probably find a way to mess with your setup. You will have to check the suckers periodically, I've noticed they are good for a couple of months usually but I'd just re-stick them every few weeks or monthly. Finally, I've added some pics of this years youngsters who have been using the feeder the last 6 weeks or so.______________________First review.I've had this a few days now and I've got to say I'm made up with it. It's a nice sturdy and well-fitting design. The suckers seem to be nice and strong too. I'd initially placed them a little wonky and taking one of them off the window to reset wasn't an easy task! The blue tits around here love it. I've seen other birds with the food I've got in there but the blue tits don't seem to bothered if I'm around and working. They are probably just a little braver. Anyway, back to the review I think this is good value for money and does exactly what it says on the tin. I had visitors within hours of putting it up.

Very pleased - Greatidea for people living in a flat, bluetits love it!
After the first weeks of testing, I am very happy with the purchase. I got 2 of these bird feeders and my windows are now frequently visited by blue tits, great tits (see pictures), coal tits and robins. Dunnocks and sparrows pass by sometimes but they prefer to stay on the window sill and pick the crumbs falling from the feeders. I live on the second floor, next to an area with some trees where the birds use to hang out. Until now, no pidgeons or magpies tried to get on the feeders, despite there's several in the area. I chose the 2 fat-balls model, I think the 3 fat-balls one may offer bigger birds a better chance of landing. A big rook once came very close to the window to check out the feeders, but it seemed like he could not find a way to land on them - luckily! Here's a list of PROS and CONS for the product.PROS:- The suckers have an excellent grip, better than you would expect from items of this size. I left the feeders outside and despite the Scottish rain and wind they never gave me the feeling I'd better bring them in. I have seen up to 2 small birds on a single feeder (they tend to "take turns" when eating), sometimes the blue tits stay on the feeder pecking down strong on it to open their sunflower seeds, but the feeder has always stood stable.- There's a little compartment in front of the feeder for fresh water, which seems to be very appreciated and surely will help the birds in winter (we'll have to remember to bring the feeders in at night so that it does not freeze!). Nice touch for the bird's well-being.- For safety, the feeders come with a lace you can tie to the window handles. In my case I preferred to put two nails on the side of the window, outside, so that the window can stay 100% closed. You can notice the lace on one of the pictures. When I bring the feeders inside for cleaning / replacing the water, I take the lace off the nail and the feeders up, leaving only the suction cups on the window. It's extremely easy to take them on and off the suckers (bonus PRO)!- The green plastic parts prevents the birds to hit your window, giving them a visual point of reference for landing. It still happens sometimes that a bird hits the window, but that's just when they put on a fight and "lose control".- Birds seem to enjoy spending time on the feeders, taking their time to pick their favourite seeds (peanuts above all in this period!) or peck the fat balls (by the way, the feeders hold 2 standard sized fat balls each, the ones you can get in any shop). They get scared if we move too close to the window, but if you don't do sudden movements you can stay a few inches from it and they'll still come.- The shape of the feeder, with the oval hole on the backside, is perfect to maximise visibility and allows you to take pretty cool photos!CONS:- In all honesty it's hard to find a con, since I am very pleased with the product. A con could be the fact that you have to build up the item yourself, the instructions are very clear and it's not rocket science anyway. The feeders come directly inside of the parcel, without a "fancy box" so you may want to open the parcel and put them in a nice bag if they are supposed to be a gift!- Changing the water is a bit tricky. It would be easy if you replace water and seeds at the same time, but since water needs to be changed more often (it gets dirty pretty quickly with the birds eating above it), it's complicated to clean the water compartment only. I normally use kitchen towel to absorb the dirty water out, since I would fill the sink with seeds if I try to pour the water down from the feeders. Anyway, it is just a small inconvenience and there may be a better way to do it that didn't come to my mind yet!CONCLUSIONS:At this price, this is an awesome purchase, especially for those living in a flat and missing the pleasures of a garden. It made a lot of difference in my house (it's a bit like having pets now, or a "bird tank"! :) ) and I would recommend it to all my friends.

Does the job well
We probably love this bird feeder just as much as the birds. We’ve had it for almost a year now, the suckers are surprisingly strong. Whilst it is not the prettiest bird feeder out there, it has lasted well throughout the hard frosts, and alllows for tranquil bird viewing. The only reason I have not rated it 5 stars is because it is not squirrel proof. We now have a non feathered visitor who has stolen all the fat balls in recent weeks and now confidently sits in the tray eating the birds nuts as well. But that goes to show how sturdy this tray is!
