It does the job.

Does the job. Red light indicates connected to power (to mains or battery or both) but no green light to indicate the battery has been fully charged. Easy to connect the adapter ends the wrong way (polarity) around so CARE NEEDED.

Ordered this for my Mum for her fibre optic nativity scene, but as I was unsure what to order I asked the question on Amazon if anyone thought it would be suitable, received an answer from 'George' who was most helpful and even told me how to use it, so ordered straight away, arrived very quickly, did exactly as George suggested, starting off on a lower setting and 'lo and behold' it worked first time, absolutely perfect for our needs, so if in doubt 'ask the question!' Amazon customers are so helpful, I can't thank 'George' enough, if it hadn't have been for his help Mum would have thrown her nativity away, I can imagine this would have many uses because there are quite a few settings, definitely worth a try!

The item is useless it interferes with the radio and the cassette player of my Aiwa TX457 ''Walkman''. It also does not cover Sony Walkmans and on buying a converter that does , sold by E-bay from a Company ABC products and same offered by Amazon, I find it also interferes with my Sony Walkman WM-FX445. ABC products admits the Converter is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! THEY ALSO SAY I AM FREE TO TELL AMAZON THIS! THUS I AM DOING THAT NOW!!! ALL MAINS ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ARE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS. THE SONY CONVERTER IS DISPOSED OF AND I WILL DISPOSE OF THE CostMad converter as well. I am unsatisfied and disappointed. I will certainly not buy another walkman or converter again.It beggars the question why anyone can make a product both of which are not fit for purpose and also potentially dangerous. I may take this matter further. I was amazed by other things of modern technology. This adaptor worked brilliantly for a laser light. We kept breaking the plug until finally I caved a brought a new one.This is fantastic as I didn't really know what sort of fitting it needed. This has them all, then you just chose the one you need. Fantastic.

I was a bit worried when I received it because it was so much smaller and felt so light compared to the original power adapter for my York aspire cycle. I was also a bit concerned about getting the polarity right. However it was quite simple and seems like a really good product. Everything is working well so far.

I bought this for my electric shaver. The original broke.The product is well built, excellent value for money and does what it says on the boxes. There is a switch which allows you to change from 3Vdc - 12 Vdc. In simple terms you can adjust the amount of power your device needs. The connectors are very sturdy and when attached to the cable, you wouldn't know that it was a universal charger.Very Good Product. Looked around and this is the best value for your money.
