Great Case but a really snug fit
I have Technics 1201s and while these fit they are very snug the case bends ever so slightly out preventing clips from smoothly closing but that for me is small price to pay for a very nice case and great value for money.

They look lovely but...
Firstly they(I bought two) look lovely. I don't have dust lids for my Technics 1200, although I see dust lids available on Amazon for £35ish so for the extra money these flight cases are worth it. The 1200 fits into it nicely except for the lid hinges at the back, which means you have to cut a small block of foam out to accommodate them, its no biggy. As long as you have a super sharp knife and a steady hand. They look lovely, but build quality isn't great, the foam pads meant for the feet and the turntable block, use Velcro to connect to the material in the case. The hot glue had come completely unstuck on some and was used sparingly on others. I hot glued them back together. Annoying, especially if you don't have a hot glue gun, but no biggy. the felt material on the inside was wrinkled, not smoothed out, not a massive problem as the decks cover that and you cant see it. But it shows lack of quality checking. The cable cut-out in the lower case fell out as it was too loose. This is on taking out the case out of the box. A bit more hot glue gun and fixed solidly in place. The plastic cut-out insert is pretty poor, I can see that getting lost quite easily by simply falling out, and you cant glue that in place. Regarding the case strength, it doesn't seem as robust as some of my older uglier flight cases, the sides bend quite easily. The length of the hook on the top lip that hooks it on the clasp at the back of the bottom is quite short, meaning the lid cant hang off the back, maybe it never needs to. I am a little concerned that the big block of foam that sits on top of the turntable is too thick and that means that you are squashing the top lid down on the bottom case to shut it, it seems like more downward pressure than it needs. I will probably cut that thinner. You get a 10 year guarantee, which is generous. I don't think these are really gigging cases, I don't think they would stand up to a lot of bashing around, but presumably you call in the guarantee if the worst happens. I wont be traveling far or often with them.I have fixed the "issues" with mine, simply because sending them back would be a terrific pain, and there's no guarantee you'd get better ones the second time. Easy issues to fix if you have a hot glue gun, probably not so easy with out one. These were in my price range. They do look lovely, they are good value for money but there is a reason why the other flight cases are more expensive.
