Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 DJ Controller

Fantastic piece of equipment for a beginner like myself. Large assortment of controls, all of which are very precise and can be recalibrated at any time. The software is great, too - just be prepared to buy a heck of a lot of music if you don't already own a load of good DJ tracks.

What a fantastic bit of equipment this is - £300 seems like an absolute bargain when you plug it in and fire it up - all you need to DJ anywhere and the FX and features are excellent, the sound quality is also mint!

Agonised over many controllers. It you use Traktor Pro2 software then this is a no brainer. Dead easy to use and perfect for the starter and the seasoned dj. Recommend getting the Magma case to go with it, everything in one case. Only quibble is the mic input and gain at the back is a bit of a pain, but once levels set it's ok

The controlled seemed great for my needs in running workshops with music, however it CRASHES about once an hour (on my macbook pro) when playing live which is really awkward and I cannot use it again. I wish I had not purchased this and am looking to get a refund

THIS WILL NOT WORK ON NEW MACBOOK PROS OR MACBOOK AIRS. GOOGLE IT, THERE ARE FORUMS FULL OF ANGRY PEOPLE WITH NO WAY OF RESOLVING IT. IT CRASHES RANDOMLY. I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY WHILST TRYING TO USE THIS FOR A CLUBNIGHT. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.
