I really like the compact easy to use style

Took me ages to find something for the right price for my purpose (casual travel and weekend use) the reel feels amazing in hand and you can tell it's high quality by the feel as does the rod I have rated 4 stars for now as mine has been shipped with the rubber stopper from the bank being detached and have contacted support I will update my review once I hear back and the issue is resolved as if not for the issue I would have given 5* (would be nice to prewind the spare reel as this would help appeal to a more beginner market)Edit: support has replied same day (Sunday) and offered to send me a replacement part excellent service excellent product.

Very compact, great travel rod (at least for the car as it's 2021). No worries about taking it on holiday. I haven't caught anything over 6lbs on it but it feels strong and livily.

This is a super good travel set up for spinning with lures. My son travels a lot with his work across Europe and he loves his spin fishing both sea and fresh water so I bought him this set up to keep in his work vehicle and for packing when flying to destinations. Very good quality rod with two separate tips to make two different length spinning rods. The reel is also very good quality and is very compatible with both rods. The kit breaks down nice and compact in its own carry case and fits in a small suitcase or backpack. Outstanding quality and fantastic package. Highly recommend these kits made by Rigged and Ready.

As of writing it seems as though 6 of the 7 reviews on this rod are by people with no other review history. I wish I'd noticed that beforehand. I was new to fishing when I bought this rod and needed it for a month long camping trip. In the end it did the job pretty well and I caught lots of fish, but having since become better acquainted with other equipment it does feel fairly cheap. Whether that's reflected adequately in the cost I'm not sure, but I'll probably be looking for a better one next summer.

Awesome bit of kit! Way better than a telescopic rod. I take it wherever I get deployed too and have fished all over the world and caught some amazing fish with this rod!At home its Brilliant on the mackerel throwing a spinner out to a good distance on the pier or on the boat dropping feathers to catching some weird and tropical fish in the far east!If you use the shorter glatt tip you can reel in some pretty large fish if you play them properly and it gets a lot of looks and interest from fellow fishermen when you turn up and start assemmbling it!I would reccomend it 100%
