Great product, sturdy, manoeuvrable, versatile.
Fantastic piece of kit, but installation aids could be improved.CONs. OK, let's get the negatives out of the way first, then I can tell you what a fabulous piece of kit this is.1. Good range of bolts, but the ones needed for my LG 42-inch weren't there. So I used those supplied with the tv which seem a tiny bit short. Fingers crossed.2. I think a paper mounting-template would greatly help, to mark the holes in the wall that need drilling. Without it you need another person to hold the rather heavy bracket so you could mark the wall accurately.3. Cable and fixture covers were very neat, but the latter tends to snap out when you swing the arm out. It just needs a tiny bit more of a lip, or lugs, to enable the fixture cover to stay in place.3. Wall fixing screws and plugs are quite hard to secure. Instructions are good, but to tighten up to firmly secure the hexagonal bolt head was tough work, because (a) half the thickness of the bolt head is obstructed by the raise lip surrounding the hole. Solution, a couple of washers would give you full leverage on the bolt head. I didn't bother, but doggedly tightened up because the bolt/screw was too deep in the wall by this time. So I think it's a good tip to use washers. Also another tip: smear the length of the screw/bolt with a bit of vaseline to lubricate the screwing! Photo 1 shows how the raised lips around the bolt heads were scratched in order to drive the bolts fully home. The photo also shows how a thicker lip around the rim of the cover would stop it from coming loose every time you swing the tv.PROs. Wow, where do I start.?1. Very strong bracket (40kg support)! My 42inch weighs 20kg, so I'm confident it will stay up (hope the LG bolts hold on the tv fixing plate!2. Looks and feels strong , and the covers are a lovely touch. I'd be proud to have this in a hotel or conference room. (Photo 2). Incidentally each cable cover does have pronounced lips, which firmly secure them to the arm.3. Very reasonable price!! Only a couple of quid more than a China-made bracket you can get from some shops, which can only support up to 20kg (and look scrappy and store-roomish!!) The Invision one looks professional and hospitable (not that you can see it unless in a hotel room).4. Overall, great quality, looks fabulous when installed, and for the price, you can't go wrong!Hope this review is helpful to customers as well as the manufacturer.

Great product.........
This is a really substantial piece of kit which comes complete with all the necessary fixings. I canât see that you need much DIY experience to mount this â all you need is a decent wall to get a good fixing. The instructions arenât that good but itâs pretty obvious how to fit it â the only thing to be aware of is that you can fit the TV mounting plate onto the TV upside down if you donât watch out. No big deal but annoying if you have to take it off again. Similarly with the wall bracket, thereâs a tab on the top of the TV connector plate which hooks into the TV mounting plate to hold it firm while you secure it. If you mount the wall bracket up the wrong way youâll have to take it off again......not that I did this of course! There are two adjusting nuts on the rear of the TV connector plate that will give you a few degrees of angular movement if you donât manage to fit the bracket absolutely level. A few people have queried where these are but if you have a good look at the plate youâll see them at the top â one on each side of it. Just loosen the nuts off a bit and tilt the TV then re-tighten.Two other nuts on the sides of the connector plate will give a few degrees tilt into the room if youâre mounting it higher than eye level. There are 4 positions for the TV when itâs flattened to the wall, and they all shift the screen sideways depending on how you configure the two hinges. You need to consider this when you decide where to fit the bracket as it dramatically affects where the TV ends up. Easiest way is to cut the packing box to the rough size of the TV and tape it onto the bracket. Loosen the adjustment bolts off a bit and hold in on the wall and mark every position that the TV can go to when itâs folded back â this should give you an idea where you want the fixings to be.Last tips for those not overly confident with DIY is to get the wall fixings solid and secure. The bracket will never break but the fixings are key to the whole thing. Hope this helps, I'm not trying to be smart - it's just the way I'd do it!!⢠Hold the bracket where you want it and mark one of the top holes.⢠Check the walls for cables, pipes etc.⢠Use a small pilot drill to drill the first (one of the top) holes.⢠Check the depth of the hole by putting the coachscrew into the hole â the hole needs to be slightly deeper (around 10mm) as the screw is long, not just the length of the wallplug.⢠Use the specified size drill to get the hole to the right size.⢠Insert the wall plug. Be aware that the plug will only be effective where the thread of the screw touches it. Iâd advise sinking the plug into the hole so it will marry with the thread before fitting the screw â if this isnât clear, draw what youâre doing on paper. Youâll realise that if you leave the plug flush with the wall finish the screw breaks through the bottom of the plug into the hole, and doesnât grab anything. Additionally, the unthreaded part of the screw wonât grip on the plug as itâs just a smooth surface.⢠Once you have the first fixing prepared, do up the screw with a decent socket (not the one thatâs supplied if you value your skin!) until the bracket just grips the wall.⢠Level up the bracket, and mark another of your selected holes. This is more accurate than drilling the holes from marks made before mounting as you may have veered off a few mm when you did the first hole.⢠Repeat with the other holes, fit all the screws loosely until they bite into the wall plugs and tighten one by one until theyâre almost home, then check the level once more and finally tighten the screws.⢠Fit the TV plate to the TV, lift it onto the connector plate (if youâve fitted it the right way up it will hitch over the âtabâ and stay there while you fit the holding nut then adjust the angle. tilt etc.I canât see why youâd need two people to do this unless you have a really heavy TV or itâs very high up.Great product, excellent value.
