Great little effects box
Bought this as just learning to play and I can use it as a headphone/practice amp to avoid scaring the cats in my neighbourhood. Among the effects I was interest in was the chorus and flanger so I could sound like a crap Robert Smith. And it works, I do!Only negative is that I couldn't get Apple headphones/earpods to work if they had the mic, unless I didn't insert the 3.5 jack in all the way. May be a problem as many Apple users will have piles of these earbuds kicking around. Not sure if this is a fault on my unit but I have other headphones/earbuds I use.

Perfect for my requirements
It looks pretty much the same as the rocktile that's about £20 more, I don't know if it's just the same thing rebranded or not.As a beginner bassist I bought this for a couple of reasons, to play through headphones so not to annoy the neighbours, to have drums to practice along to, and for the aux in so I can plug my phone in to play along with tracks. For all that it is perfect, could do with being a bit louder. Also really handy that it works off mains adapter or batteries but I've yet to find out how long the batteries will last, also handy you can clip it onto your belt.I was quite surprised at the range of effects on it and it's dead easy to use, just don't expect high quality effects, they'll do me fine for a little experimentation while I'm learning/practicing but I don't think I'd use it much beyond that.Does exactly what I need and at the price I don't think I can ask any more.

For the price great value - but....
If you want to play around with some effects cheaply then this does the job. However its not the easiest thing in the world to use, and the shape is just dumb preventing some jacks going in fully because of the curved shape . Marketing bods at work here rather than sensible design!Useful drum generator, so can be used for practice (think metronome) etc., but the price tells with the simple display, making it difficult to use.Would I buy it again, as first introduction to effects maybe, but retrospectively think I would spend a little more and get something easier to use and more flexible and with a pedal. As an update.Should add mine was NOT supplied with a power adaptor, was able to borrow one, but the kind lender (not unreasonably!) want it back, so having to use batteries, and this really sucks from a battery usage point of view. This is not suitable for battery power!!!!!! If the power supply is missing make sure you contact them for it. Wish I had done so. :(You all so need to learn Morse code to try set up the drum generator and why is manual printed with suck small text? - Paper is not that expensive and pdf is free!

Love it!!!
I used to have a line 6 old pod which was fine but had to do everything on a PC. Could only control the volume. I avoid having a pedal due to price. How Amazed i was when i saw this little pod. I loved the idea of having something quick and simple to just plug and play.So I ordered it. Came quickly thanks to Amazon. Quite simple instructions. There are quite a few effects and settings you can set which gives you a nice set of options for various sounds. This though is done quickly. The sounds/effects are amazing and easy to set. It might not have the vast selection of sounds and effects as my old pod. It has however everything I need for my playing needs. Could not be happier with this purchase.

I'm here because of Riffs, Beards and Gear
After watching Ryan Bruce pop this wee gadget out on his channel and seeing his reaction to the sound that could be produced peaked my curiosity and I had to grab one for myself and what can I say it's great fun, I use it to practice with headphones on rather than hauling the amp out every time I want to play, I'd recommend it if you need something on a budget that still sounds good!

Great for the money... lacks tweakability
This is a great little thing for the price. The drum machine is what makes it for me, I don't think any other headphone amps do this. There is very little controllability of the sound, to get that you'd have to pay more. But it's cheap and the sounds you can get from it are great. My only criticism is that sometimes I'm itching for more delay, or I just want to tweak something... but it's great for travelling and I've had a lot of fun with it.

Essential convenient practice tool.
Perfect practice tool for playing through headphones. The effects are enough fun to inspire and the drum patterns are realistic enough for practice. It's no replacement for my effects pedals, doesn't have the same depth but a great way to play through when you can't be bothered to set up your pedals (quick ten minute grab a guitar moments) or when the rest of the family are studying. Plus it's cheap - get one.

What it lacks in build quality, it makes up for in sound.
I replaced a cheap amp with this for recording guitar parts for music projects. The build quality isn't great and the headphone socket on mine is a little funny, but I rarely use it so it doesn't matter too much. It feels like it will fall apart whenever you touch it.It sounds incredible. Far better than you could expect from something so small and plasticy. The built-in chromatic tuner is very handy and quick to access. The drum patterns don't sound great but they keep you in time and are better than an obnoxious clicking metronome. You can clip it to your belt or guitar strap and rock out without being tied to your amp. I wish I got this device sooner because it's honestly awesome.
