Amazing
I've only ever used cheap decathlon waterproofing spray before, which did the job to an extent. This stuff is in a different league. I have a pair of suede Adidas that I treated about a month ago and have been amazed at how clean they have stayed. Been clubbing in them, down the pub, walking the dog, and while the sole needs a regular wipe down, the uppers look as clean and fresh as the day I bought them. It doesn't smell like the Decathlon stuff I've used in the past either. Magic stuff.

Pricey but water proofs pretty much everything!
Following the instructions to the letter is a must to get the most out of this product.Very good at waterproofing kit, clothes even suede shoes. Not cheap hence 4 stars, and there are cheaper alternatives to waterproof gear - recommend if budget allows.

Amazingly Good
The media could not be loaded. After reading some of the negative reviews on here I was a bit wary about buying this as it is pretty expensive compared to rival brands. Anyway I thought I'd give it a go, and was also upsold on the Hog Hair Brush which it turns out is probably essential to get the best results. I followed the instructions to the letter, doing one coat, rubbing it in with the brush and repeating the process a second time on a pair of new Vivobarefoot nubuck leather shoes. I then left the shoes to dry for 24 hours as instructed. You have to be a bit careful applying this as it seems a little goes a long way and it would be easy to use too much and waste lots of it. After 24 hours was up I gave my shoes the 'tap test' in the kitchen sink and the result was amazing! The water just bounces off and leaves the shoes completely dry. Not only does this product work really well it is also a non-toxic eco friendly product.

The best protection for trainers
Easy to use, spray on and repeat and leave to set but then lasts and my trainers have been kept in great condition with no marks since. Waterproofing is great super effective. Smell is quite mild. Has lasted over a year so far no reapplication.

Good product but a bit overpriced.

Really good when applied to nubuck, but needs regular reapplication
Simple to apply. Nice spray bottleDoes the job for walking boots which are never waterproof for more than a month of walking in the wet. Depending on the season may need to be reapplied every 1-3 months.

Not Welsh Rain Proof!
Let's face it, when the Goretex membrane fails on your boots (and it will, sooner than you think), you have three options. Buy some new boots, only walk in dry weather or try a proofer. I'd tried a couple of alternatives after my Salomon fabric boots decided to start letting in water - none very effective or long lasting. I stumbled on this stuff and decided to give it a whirl.Application can best be described as messy. The trigger spray isn't the best and it is quite difficult to work the solution into clean, dry fabric boots. I do wonder if it would work better if the boots were slightly damp? Anyway after three coats, I took the boots for a little outing on the Wales Coast Path. Now to be fair, on the day in question, the rain was coming down in stair rods but the waterproofing (if you can call it that) failed almost instantly and I was left with wet socks for the remainder of a the walk.So on the basis of that test alone, I really can't recommend this stuff at all. A stroll through some dewy grass or the odd shallow puddle you might get away with, but in a serious wet weather challenge this was a spectacular fail.At this price point (for that, read expensive) I both hoped for and expected far better results - what a let down.

Easy to use
So far, after wearing the treated jacket, in a shower, it repelled the moisture. It was easy to apply the treatment.
