Essential DBT Resource with a Twist of Fun
This spiral-bound edition of DBT Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets has been a game-changer for both professionals and anyone practicing DBT on their own. The structure is incredibly user-friendly, with each skill set broken down into understandable parts, and the worksheets provide practical ways to apply what you’re learning. It's the kind of book that makes you feel like progress is possible, one small step at a time.I love the spiral binding, seriously, why aren’t more workbooks made like this? No more trying to hold down pages with my elbow while I fill in a worksheet. The spiral design makes it easy to flip open and lie flat, which is super helpful when you're knee-deep in trying to master mindfulness or radical acceptance. The handouts are easy to understand, and Marsha Linehan’s approach comes through with just the right mix of warmth and clarity. Plus, there’s a surprising amount of variety, no endless repetition of the same old concepts, but fresh, engaging exercises that actually make you want to pick up a pen and start scribbling. I’m pretty sure I even smiled a few times working through them, which is saying a lot for a therapy workbook. If you’re into DBT, this is an absolute must-have. Whether you're using it for yourself or your clients, it’s full of practical insights that can help you stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. Just a word of advice: have a good pen handy, because you’ll be using it a lot!

Life saving.
I bought this because it is the handouts and worksheets we are using in the DBT course I am taking, I wanted to have the book for referance and to work on at home as well as ensuring I have the complete collection of work sheets. So far the work I've been able to do with this and the help of a clinical psychologist to ensure that I'm working on them skillfully & safely has been invaluable. The skills I've been working on have already had a profoundly positive effect in my daily life, reduced my risk behaviours significantly, and helped me to understand an awful lot about myself. I have eupd, an eating disorder, OCD - DBT training was prescribed to me for a year course with professionals, I wouldn't recommend this as a self help book, the work is very intense and emotionally difficult, but if you are working with a professional who can help guide you in this, I believe it is an unparalleled resource for tools and skills that everyone could benefit from.It has also changed my opinion on how effective mindfulness can be, as I once had judgement about who mindfulness was for now I understand that it is more about being aware of yourself, how things effect you and how having an awareness of yourself in this way can help you to prepare for things that may be difficult, as well as helping you have far more control over our behaviour and emotions than I thought was possible. Can't recommend this enough, but if you are to work on this please ensure that you have someone helping you who understands the language and intention, preferable someone trained to teach DBT skills.

Complete guide to doing DBT for therapists
I don’t usually post reviews but I wanted to respond to a reviewer who says ״But it's a just a full copy of her all her courses handouts and those used fir complete treatment programme of DBT .״ I want to say - What on Earth do you mean by ׳just’?! A complete set of every single hand out and work sheet is just an amazing resource! So generous and such great value. I’m a Human Givens therapist and haven’t been able to help my daughter enough up to now. By going through these with my daughter using one of the 24 week schedules outlined, it’s going amazingly well. Honestly it sounds unbelievable but after just two sessions, there’s a real difference already. I can’t praise this enough. It’s overwhelming I agree but that’s because it is complete. I׳d say it’s well worth spending the time to get to grips with it. I think it’s more for therapists though than for self help unless it’s used as work sheets to accompany a course.

Excellent book!
Bought this to help me along my DBT therapy. It’s the exact same book my psychologist uses. The information and worksheets are explained really well, and the skills taught are invaluable for every day life regardless of your mental health status.

Really good DBT workbook
Impressive DBT workbook but better for group therapy or sessions rather than doing it alone.

Very useful
Has loads of different skills and information, it is a very thick book but it’s as expected.

I recommend to my clients
This is designed for clients to use when attending a DBT skills group; as such, it's wonderful. I strongly recommend my clients to buy a paper copy rather than the ebook.I don't think it would be easy to use without the guidance of a therapist; other books are available for that.
