Cheap and cheerful PTFE tape that in a pack of 10 lasts a good long time.Great to use on any and all taps, pipes, and hoses or wherever water has a chance of leaking. Can even be used on sump plugs to stop them binding (though I can recommend 'Irwin bolt grip nut remover' for that).All sorts of uses for the plastic dispenser too, such as making your own chain holder for bicycles.

Easy to use and gives good seal
Super easy to use, plenty in the pack and does the job well.Even ended up putting it in place of the o ring on my u bend as the o ring broke and it has been dry so far.
