Review for: Pacific Handy Cutter UKH594 Plastic Swivel Holster for S8 Safety CutterFits the S8 safety cutter nicely. Does not come off of belt easily once attached. Better to pull belt through for removal, but with some effort can be detached by holding belt and clip lip away from each other. PHC S8 safety cutter seats and removes quickly and easily from holster. Insertion into holster requires the blade be retracted, and does so automatically when forced into holster. Feels like it might be flimsy, but has stood up to several weeks of regular use in a busy trucking dock environment.Edit/Update: Plastic is brittle enough to break-away given enough force or torque. At first this seemed like a minor irritation that I would need to purchase a new holster when the clip gave away after getting caught and pulled by a heavy cage. BUT for the safety aspect. If grabbed, it will break easy enough not to drag around 175lbs of dead (or standing) weight. Also, the outside shell comes apart from the clip-side of the holster. The latter observation happened while leaning against it in a chair. Plugging holes on the back side with some torn-up napkin stopped this from happening. (Still a 5-star review.)

it's easy to use , locks and turn and release great and u can't complain about the price

I have the Easycut brand cutter & since I couldn't purchase just that brands holster, I found this "universal" holster. It doesn't fit perfectly, but good enough to use.

It holds the S8 knife just fine, it's just that if it snags on anything while you're walking, it has a high chance of breaking. I'd recommend just finding a multi-tool holster, and using that instead.

The box cutter looks unique. I can't wait to start using it at work. It came on time brand new and really nice. I am giving it a 1 star bc if you look at the attached picture carefully, it was sent without the lanyard as advertised. It's a bit annoying but what are you going to do? I will revise my review if they take the trouble to send me my missing part.

I really like how my knife fit, very nice.

tl;dr: doesn't hold up for long if you're using it every few minutes 8hrs a day.The part that holds the knife in the sheath snapped after a month and half of constant use, five 8hr days a week. Some of my Co workers from other departments have the same one and theirs have lasted longer. However, no one in my dept uses them, now I know better. Partly my fault because of constant and possibly excessive force but I expected it to be more flexible and hold up longer than it did.
