I like this. It's a traditional style boot scraper, with plenty of room for even the biggest boot.It is strong and heavy, and the seams appear to be very solid.You get the metal part on its own (first photo) - before you can use it, it needs to be supported, so I've had it set into a block of sandstone which was cut and shaped to size (by a professional) - it's still worked out a lot cheaper than buying an old one from a reclamation yard.It still looks brand new (second photo), but hopefully, it won't take too long to weather .....EDIT (June 2017) - well, it has definitely weathered - a little too much for me, actually, so I've painted it - see third photo below of it painted with 2 coats of Hammerite..After six months outside, the whole metal surface was covered in a thin layer of rust. Although it looks quite "rustic", I realised that in a few years, if the rust continued, there would be nothing left. Regretfully, painted it, but I have to admit, It still looks very nice this way, and hopefully, should make it last a lot longer.

Really nice quality item. Looks fab outside the front door. Have set in concrete just below ground level.

Opened package to find it's rusting already. Will now have the additional expense of buying a tin of Kurust to paint it. Be warned it's well made but the finish is poor.

Extremely well made, very heavy and robust. I painted mine before fixing it in place to prevent rust, as it has only a primer coat on delivery. Would definitely recommend.

I have 3 of these. One at the gate to the patio, and one each at the front and back doors. Simple, easy and attractive and helps the problem of mud in the country....

I felt this was a bit roughly produced to be honest!Poorly coated with whatever it's coated with - blobs of it all over the place.Plus the welds are not great.Ho hum - it's only for outside - but I expected a better finish.Couldn't be bothered to even attempt a return of such a heavy item!
