Love Athena @ 3.0 EC
I made the switch from jacks 321 and when I made the switch I can’t lie, this nutrient line runs super clean even at a high ec, the plants love it and eat it right up. Very minimal tip burn at 3.0EC. Plants haven’t looked this good in a long time. And for anyone wondering why you can get away with running such a high EC, it’s because of the lower than average micronutrient levels in the Core. As well as the low nitrogen cal nitrate (14% N). Not to mention multiple high level cultivators run this line as well all without any additives. I prefer to still run some beneficial microbes in the media however I will still keep the res sterile with hypochlorous acid.

Athena Pro Line un-biased real low income customer review
Great Product run at 3.0 EC 6.2 PH and but the FADE separately for the last two weeks switch the core out with the fade to take out the nitrogen and really get them going it leaves the rest of the essential micronutrients and still allows you to flush the nitrogen pushing the fade and effectively ending the grow and ripening the plants run it for the last two weeks with when your lights temperature and humidity are being turned down and they really pop. I wouldn’t listen to the one star review that says the Athena pro lacks all nitrogen dude is mistaken or probably didn’t mix the core with the bloom and tried to run it as a one part without the core I would bet that wouldn’t have any nitrogen and would cause his plants to die but that’s user error this stuff is used by professional cannabis breeders and cultivators I was recommended this by several different people on high places in the growing industry from breeding to cultivation and dispensing many recommend Athena pro long before I have it a try and I’ve tried many just be sure not to mix the bottles prematurely if you contaminate them with each other early you will ruin your nutrients so always pour never stick anything inside the jug like a syringe to suck it out or all the nutrients will be ruined from the chemical reactions happening prematurely and that’s the only real thing that makes it more complicated then a one part like strive where you literally feed exactly the same the whole grow and don’t change your inputs. I also like the EC recipes on the jugs it helps you tailor the EC to the specific grow your running as some like really high EC and some just can only take so much or have nutrient sensitivities. But the Athena pro does run really clean and I haven’t had problems with it burning out my plants or killing them even at 3.5 EC. Long story short if you are shopping for a new line to try pick you up the three jug starter kit get you the additional fade bottle for the end and the foiler sprays stacker for nutrition and IPM for pest and mold prevention and management. They have a complete product line that you really don’t have to step away from to have a beautiful time other then some beneficial stuff like mycos bat guano worm castings kelp and seaweed extracts I’ve also ran Jacks 321 Botanicare general hydroponics . If your on the fence about Athena pro line give it a grow! We grow stronger together! Drop them beans boy!

No more organics for me (indoors anyway)
I had signed up for a competition to grow the largest plant possible in a solo cup, I’ve been using organic soil and fertilizer for the past 15 years but I knew that wasn’t going to do it for the solo cup. This was the first time I’ve used a hydro setup in the 15 years but ended up winning 3rd place out of 187 contestants and 6 ounces dried from a 16 ounce solo cup, I would have never thought it was possible. Thanks again Athena!

Killed my plants
I grew with Athena Proline all summer in 30 gallon grow bags. The plants grew fine in grow phase, 2 feedings per week and they looked great. The plants went into bloom and a couple of weeks into flower it all went down hill. Plant leaves hung and then turned yellow. It looks like a Nitrogen problem. Doing some research on this Athena Bloom the proline has no nitrogen at all. So if you’re in stretch and the plant doesn’t have enough nitrogen stored your out of luck.
