Handy Flux, 1 Pound Jar

This stuff works great for my silversmithing and will last forever. If it dries out you can just add a little water to rehydrate and get it to the consistency you want.

This flux works like a charm for soldering but I do prefer black flux over this stuff because you don’t have to clean your piece repeatedly after soldering. This stuff does work great though!

The lid wasn’t on all the way, the seal was broken and it leaked all over the bag. I needed it so I kept it but about half of it was as gone.

So it says “preheat until flux becomes liquid” well it doesn’t actually becomes liquid it just boils up and then burns. The solder doesn’t flow, and when it does the charred flux becomes a barrier that won’t allow it to stick. This has been an awful experience.
