Although the branding is that of Roscoe Medical, the unit, the case, the leads, the pads, the packaging, and the instruction manual are exactly the same as this unit. The manual indicates that the battery is rechargeable. It is a 9V Type 6F22 which is standard. Rechargeable varieties are widely available.
