Totally Relatable!
I had read the 1st book and loved it so decided to read this one. I loved it even more. The stories are so relatable if you grew up during those years no matter where you lived. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Moore on a cruise ship and can so see him involved in these antics. If you are in need of a good laugh, you need to read this book!

When NOT to read this book
You should NOT read this book on a flight in the middle of the plane in the middle seat! The belly laughter and tears that it causes makes others wonder what is wrong! This book...I think it should be a must-read for ANYONE that grew up in the 60-70s, even if you are not blessed to have grown up in Norman with Bill's class of 74 ...just to remind us all that things were different...to remind us that being childlike is still worth pursuing...to see joy and wonder in everyday things...It's like taking a trip back in time. And in the midst of so much bad news and sad news and pain, we need this laughter and these reminders to cherish those little things. I hope that Bill has many more memories to put down on paper...He is an excellent storyteller!

This is the follow up to Mr. Moore's first book, "Memories of an Okie Boomer".
Mr. Moore tells the story of Kids in Norman, Oklahoma, during the 60s and early 70s. I lived in Norman during the 60s and I can say from personal experience during the 60s that we actually did stupid things like those incidents he describes in his books. Looking back upon it now from 50 to 60 years, I have to wonder how we didn't hurt ourselves worse than we did.

If you ever laughed seeing "A Christmas Story" . . . .
You will laugh even more reading nearly every page of this book. You don't have to be from Oklahoma to appreciate what it was like growing up. The world needs some humor more now than ever and this book is the best therapy you'll ever get for $9.99! Btw - this review was written by a Nebraskan. And if you know anything about Oklahoma and Nebraska - then you'll understand how great this book must be.

This is Wonderful
I was in the Class of 1974. Dean Blevins was the star. Dick Pryor was the professional. But Bill Moore is the scribe. I’ve ordered a set for my Mom, who was a salutatorian at NHS, and plan on ordering several more sets as I reconnect with the people these books remind me of.

Very funny, Easy to Read
The author’s description of growing up in Norman was hilarious. While a small portion may have been unique to Norman, I suspect most readers will readily relate to his many childhood experiences!

Excellent read!
I was in Mrs. Hardy’s class with “Billy.” He captured our Norman neighbor perfectly.
