I use this mainly for fishing since our poles are so far spread to get people's attention and also of course to get the cat off the table

This is a very tiny whistle used for security; however, it would also be great for a hiking emergency whistle. I tested it this morning as my daughter was getting ready for school. I was many rooms over when I blew the whistle, and my initial thought was, "Is this really that loud?" However, my daughter said, "What was that? It was ear-piercing. Even the cat freaked out." Based on the above, it does the job. My only complaint is that it came in an unnecessary plastic box that would be difficult to repurpose and will have to be tossed.

I carried this on me in the mountains. Certainly something to have on a keychain, around your neck...you never know when you may need it to alert or draw attention to. Great crisp sound

Whistle:This whistle is very loud.In terms of quality, this whistle is very well made, and looks great.Necklace:The necklace is a little shorted than advertised; mine is 19 inches. Due to the length of this necklace, I can't simply slip it over my head so I have to open and close the end of the necklace. Unfortunately, the simple necklace end snap closure is tedious to open and close when wearing this necklace. I'd really prefer the necklace had a lobster clasp.Bottom line:The quality of this whistle, combined with how loud it is, makes it a solid choice, even though the necklace is merely sufficient.4 stars

This titanium paperweight didn't hurt my ears in a small enclosed space even though I blew a lung trying it to be loud.

Brilliant whistle the best yet

Tiene usos bastante necesarios y que te pueden salvar la vida si estás en peligro o para entrenamientos de animales y enfocados al deporte.El sonido es muy fuerte y nítido con un nivel sonoro de 130 dB, suficiente para alertar desde una gran distancia.Su peso es liviano con solo 26 gramos y trae una cadena para colgar al cuello y evitar que se pierda.En definitiva, me parece que todos deberíamos llevar uno encima porque nos puede salvar la vida cuando el móvil no dispone de batería o no tiene cobertura.

Se trata de un silbato de "supervivencia" de la marca KeyUnity, concretamente el modelo KA25M.El silbato presenta una excelente calidad de fabricación, es bastante compacto y, lo que es mejor aún, es plano (a diferencia de los silbatos clásicos, mucho más gruesos).Está fabricado enteramente en titanio por lo que, salvo que lo pierdas, te durará toda la vida. Junto con el silbato se entrega una cadena metálica para poder llevarlo colgado. El sonido que emite es potente (120-130 dB según indica el fabricante), aunque sinceramente, pensé que lo iba a ser aún más...Lo cierto es que, tal como he comentado antes, el llavero posee una gran calidad, es ligero, compacto y muy robusto. La parte negativa es el precio, el cuál encuentro algo elevado, por más que el silbato sea de titanio; en cualquier caso, su precio está en consonancia con su calidad. Por mi parte, he quedado bastante satisfecho con él.Espero que esta opinión te haya sido útil :)
