Extra large and auto-warm
I purchased this slow cooker to replace one that I had for many years. That one had a manual dial with Low, Medium, and High plus an auto-warm. I loved that one but it finally cracked and replacing the cook bowl was just as expensive as getting a new one, so I found this. This one has a more Digital dial with the same options. I admit I was skeptical because this is not a known brand (that I was aware of). It had all the same features, plus it was the 8 qt instead of the standard 6. I like to make a giant pot of soup and eat off it all week. I did that, and with this one, we had the soup 3 nights in a row, and I put away at least 2 more meals. It did the job and did it well.I love this slow cooker - extra large - which I knew would make it a little more difficult to clean (and it does) but it cleans up easily. Because it cooked so evenly I did not have any browning or sticking in any of the corners, not even after cooking it 4 days straight. One feature that it has the other didn't have is that I can set it for the exact number of hours I want it to start cooking - say High for 60 minutes, then it reverts to warm until I change the setting. I love this timer, and it increases in increments of 30. When I first started my soup, I put in some olive oil and onions, garlic, and diced sweet potatoes, to simmer and brown. In 30 minutes it was ready and did not burn the onions (that was my first test). I let it go another 30 minutes and still did not burn since it had shifted to warm after 30.My soup was a success and the cooker did what I needed. It's not super fancy and is exactly what I wanted. Nice purchase!

Big improvement on old crockpots
I love this. I've used crockpots frequently over 40 years and this is my favorite. It regulates heat much better. Very versatile, can also use the crock in the oven without the lid, just cover with foil (read manual for oven instructions). I did a lasagna in the oven for a crowd and it was so easy, turned out perfect. The shape is my favorite feature, more appropriate for cooking things like pot roasts, porkchops, and other meats where I often just did soups and stews in my old crock. Its lid fastens better and seems lighter for traveling, it's perfect for pot lucks. It's easier for people to serve because it's not so deep. Also, it has the ceramic pot that is easy to clean, better heat distribution, and healthier. I never use my insta pot as a crock because of its cheap aluminum pot, I only air fry with it. So if you have limited space and can only go with one crockpot, I'd highly recommend this, you will use it for everything.

Great as a warmer
Good as a warmer. The rubber band closure is a little clunky, but it does the job nicely.

Loving this casserole-shaped slow cooker!
I love this casserole-shaped slow cooker! The first item I made was a full-size lasagna and it came out perfect. I've made other items that I would normally put in my round slow cooker and they came out great too. I bought a huge bag of onions at Costco and just made a batch of caramelized onions yesterday to freeze.I realized my tried-and-true (but very old) round crockpot was not heating as well but didn't want a huge one and I wanted more versatility. This 4QT is plenty big for us and I assume it can easily handle a 4LB pot roast (trying this next). Manual dial was a must for me and the Warm setting works perfectly!

This is a great slow cooker!
I'm so happy with this cooker! It is the perfect size and is easy to clean. I bought it to replace a slow cooker I'd had for almost 30 years. This one does the job and makes my life easier.

Great Crockpot!
I was hesitant and contemplated for months before purchasing this crockpot as I really wanted the true CrockPot brand one; however that one was hard to find in stock. I ordered this one, and I have no regrets! It works great! The shallower casserole design is awesome and works well for many recipes. I’ve made green bean casserole, sausage and sauerkraut, potatoes, desserts, and more. It keeps the food evenly heated. The crockpot also cleans easily. I love this crockpot and wish I would have gotten it sooner!

It's okay ...
As a single person, I wanted a slow cooker that was smaller than the 7-qt. one that I had. This one seemed to be exactly what I needed and I loved the rectangular shape ... at first. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any liners that fit this cooker. Searched the internet and found a tip about using aluminum foil as a liner, so that's what I used. I purchased this cooker in July 2024 and now (December 2024) it has already cracked. Even though it cooked the food well, it just hasn't held up like other slow cookers I've had, which lasted for years. Also, the ceramic dish is very difficult to clean; always comes out spotty.
