Only works if you use very small weights
Does not work for heavy hip thrusts. I used 50lbs and it was slowly slipping and the weights flop sideways because the straps don't constrict on the handle of the weights

Works great!
I typically use the barbell for flute bridges, this is so much easier to use. It does take a minute to get it set up, but it works great. I love the versatility of it too. It can be used for other workouts too.

This works for me, but seems like it may have limited use
This belt is really only useful at all for hip thrusts with dumbells. The description tries to claim lunges, squats, dips, etc, and there's no way this would be useful for any of those movements. I actually needed this specifically for DB hip thrusts, so this is quite useful for me.The other thing to consider is the width of your hips compared to the width of this belt. I'm quite petite, so this belt wraps over the sides of my hips and the dumbbells are able to hang comfortably on me without loosening the straps and having them hit the floor. The first time I used it, I immediately told my partner that it wouldn't work for most people because the dumbbells would end up laying awkwardly on their hip bones.Overall, this works for my specific needs and was worth ordering for me personally, but I think the design is poor and most folks would be disappointed with what they received.

Clumsy design
I really wanted to like this but it frustrated me more than anything; there need to be some design changes in order for it to work as promised. I kept having to readjust and be taken out of the workout and flow of my sets because I was uncomfortable. In the end, I just took it off and worked with the dumbells and resistance bands on their own.

Thrust belt
It's a convenient tool for those who want to add some resistance to their hip-thrust exercises. The size is compact and portable, making it easy to carry in a gym bag or even a purse. The material seems durable and has held up well during my workouts.

It Works, but Not Well
The design in general is just a bit... awkward. I can get weight to fit, but they constantly shift around and get out of balance.I tried to use these for hip-lifts, but anytime I added the weights they'd hit the ground first and just get in the way of actually doing hip-lifts to the point where holding the weight on my lower stomach was actually easier.Good idea, but very poorly executed.

Awkward, poor design, and overpriced
I was leery ordering this, wondering how well it would work. And, my hunch was right- it doesn't so well. The design is not even a full belt. It is a partial strap, with a serrated clamped strap on each end, that are supposed to hold dumbbells. While the quality of the clasps and material seem good, the design and trying to use this thing practically are another story. The clasp design is not the most user friendly application when trying to setup for a movement and needing to secure the DBs.By movement (exercise), below is what I found. I trialed everything with lightweights to get a feel for setup, but to go much bigger with weight would pose challenges on most movements.- Hip Thrusts: the main part of the strap lays across the waist. Tightening the DB straps causes the weights to draw in to close to the body, so that they hit the legs and waist bone (I am a 5' 8"/135lb woman). To clear my body parts, I had to loosen the DB straps quite a bit. But then the DBs hang low, and when lowering from the thrust, they are the first thing to hit the ground so you can't go full range. You could elevate your feet I suppose but... why?- Lunges/Squats: Sure you can hang this around your neck with a couple weights attached. I tried it with the small weights and it was OK, but this was a weight amount I can easily swing around my neck. If I were to do so with the weights I would normally lunge with, I would not be able to do so. I would have to assemble this thing while on a bench or something then somehow try to maneuver my head under the strap and stand up with it. Very awkward to say the least, and I think having a 70+ pound necklace isn't the best idea.- Dips: this one is hilarious to me. No idea how this can be used for dips when it is not a complete belt. I guess maybe you could wear it like you would for the lunges (around the neck). Unless you are a total beast, you likely would not need to add a ton of weight for dips and this may actually be an OK application for this (although to me a dip belt is much more preferred then this heavy weight strap necklace).MY FINAL GRIPE... maybe you only want to use little weights, and this contraption will work for you. That's good, like I mentioned, the quality of the materials seem good, so it should last you. But, ~$40 ??? It should be more like $10-$15 for what you get.

Portable Mini Hip-Thrust-Band
I recently tried the Portable Mini Hip-Thrust-Band and I have to say I was quite disappointed with my purchase. The lack of padding made it very uncomfortable to use, and the bands that were meant to hold my weights were not heavy duty enough, which could cause them to snap if I used heavier weights. In my opinion, the design of this product could use some improvement. While it does work, it is not very practical due to its poor design and limited usefulness. Overall, I would not recommend this product.
