Capsule coffee, especially the nespresso original capsules, have gone such a far way since its introduction to the market. However, most companies were busy focusing on "intensity levels" that meant next to nothing in terms of describing the detailed nuances of coffee's complex flavors. In this arms race of intensity levels, focus became "who can produce the darkest roast." Market became saturated with similar tasting coffee with no real difference in taste.There are some other coffee brands out there who have tried to pull off the lighter, more acidic coffee blends in capsules before, but almost all of them tasted very muted, with no barely any notes of fruitiness that makes these types of coffee great.In the midst of capsule coffee market predominated by dark roasts, the ¡Tierra! For Planet captures good balance of delicious fruity notes and acidity while not leaning too much towards the sourness. Compared to home ground beans, the fruitiness is definitely not as strong, but I think it's as best as it will get. I definitely would recommend this to anyone wanting to go beyond their typical capsules.

I ordered the Tierra for Amazonia (intensity 8/13, medium roast) and it is delicious. It is smooth and creamy. I used it with my Nespresso Original Line machine and it worked great. I ordered the pack of 6, which has a total of 60 capsules. The box arrived in great condition, luckily there were no dents or damages. I ordered this about 2 hours ago and it arrived at my doorstep two hours later - WOW. We really are in the age of instant gratification! Although I already had my cup of coffee in the morning I couldn't wait to try this so I brewed it right away. Great coffee, very happy with this product, will be ordering more from the Lavazza brand.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very rich and full taste. This is great coffee considering that it is powder in a small Nespresso Original pod

This espresso has a great flavor, especially for the price! I love that it's organic too, as that is something I'm always looking for when it comes to coffee.I was very disappointed when 2 of the boxes had several damaged pods, and I'm afraid to use them in my machine for fear of damaging it. These are also not returnable.. so I'm just out several pods. Unfortunately for me, they came in an amazon bubble mailer and not in a box, so they just got crushed. If they were shipping in a box I don't think they would've gotten damaged.

Update 6/10/25: Updating to 4-5 stars as I must have received 1 package (10 capsules) that were "no clue". As i opened the second packages it was completely different. As well, try to stay within 2-3oz for an espresso to get the best taste. Now i would say i would be it again, price/quality for nespresso capsule is good.Tried so far 3 capsules. Worst of all non-nespresso brand capsules. You get what you pay for, dark water... no flavor, no character. After so many good reviews, i thought to give it a try. Not my cup of coffee :)

I am thrilled to find an organic option for the aluminum pods. These are made for the original espresso machines but they also work in the L’OR Barista (which I love). They’re the espresso size but I don’t like strong coffee so they work great for a regular cup of coffee for me. The taste is smooth, they work flawlessly in my L’OR Barista. I will be ordering again.

Makes decent espresso, but Americano comes out very light

Such a great pod but way too expensive to order regularly.
