Produced in May it has a characteristic bright yellow colour. The nose is pungent sulfur, ammonia and milky, with hints of wet hay, aromatic root and cheese crust. The palate is medium sweet, vanilla and a delicate tinge of chamomile in the final.

Good packaging, quality product, not greatest taste
I had a local honey that I loved that is no longer available. I like that it had a clean light flavor with hints of dandelion, and I truly felt it helped my allergies... so I figured I would try this .First of all the product itself is great and the shipping was careful with a nice little note. I like the texture of this honey and you can tell it was packaged with care. It's not overly sweet and does not have that deep almost aged taste that grocery store honey has. I get a hint of dandelion but it's only right before it leaves you with and almost light vinegary aftertaste. It's not unbearable, but it's not what I am looking for.I like it more than grocery store honey, but I think for most that aftertaste might turn them off. Especially as it lingers in your sinuses for a few minutes. I'm ok with it and I will definitely finish the jar, but I was hopeful for a different kind of flavor.
