ZA0301 Marine Outboard Hydraulic Steering System for Boats with Helm Pump, Hydraulic Cylinder and Tubing

It's very affordable, seems to be a quality product. Made my boat steering smooth and no feedback. The only thing is no hydraulic steering fluid, but for under $400.00 any power steering fluid/hydraulic oil will work just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.

I purchased this steering system for my 21 foot pontoon boat with a 90 hp engine. It works great the boat steers very well much better than the cable system that I removed. After some time I did have a problem with the helm pump leaking and contacted customer service. They replaced the helm pump in a extremely timely manner. After I contacted them Eric Got back to me right away and took care of my problem. It is a pleasure to Deal with this company, their customer service is top notch

This thing is a piece of Garbage DO NOT buy it, it has fitting issues and when I finally installed it and bled the air out of the system, one of the valves was faulty in the helm and while driving the boat in order to keep it straight I had to keep turning the wheel to the right.. And now I am stuck with a piece of junk that I can not return. We re checked an blead the system with the seastar kit 6 times and still would not function properly. All the stainless steel fittings are very low quality and leak and have stripping issues.

I agree with many of the reviews already posted. This is a reasonably well thought out kit. Quality is well above acceptable, but probably not to the standard of Hynautic or Seastar products. That said, it looks very well made and should stand up to use well. As with many direct from China products, the instructions require some interpretation and set up time. I installed it on a '13 Boston Whaler, and it was a very easy process. The helm unit was a drop in for the existing hole... and the ram installation went well. It does take time to determine the best routing for the hydraulic lines. I also needed to move my fuel/water separator to enable the assembly to move during motor lift. Give it a try!!

This is my 2nd Hydraulic helm from Woqi. EXCELLENT products. Well made, installs easily. Makes steering so much nicer. I read though a bunch of the other reviews and i can say that 90 percent of the ones with problems used incorrect fluid. I have used the quicksilver hydraulic helm fluid with Perfect results. its a little more money than other solutions but its a quality fluid that works flawlessly in this helm.if you are on the fence with this system, buy it. The customer service is FANTASTIC. Great support and super helpful. They want to make it work for you.

Bought this for my 13’ whaler restoration project. Had a tight bend to make in the splash well so cable steer was out of the question. Easy to install system. Very difficult to bleed if your helm is lower than the cylinder. Only issue I have is under power there is a lot of feedback in the steering to the point where if you let go of the wheel while on plane the engine is going to turn on its own which can be dangerous if you don’t expect it. I tried to reach out to the vendor but have not received a response. Not sure what to do but my kids can’t drive this as it is.

I HAVE AN 18' BASS BUGGY THE OLD CABLE STREEING WAS SHOT KEPT GIVING ME FEED BACK FROM MY 60HP BIG FOOT MOTOR I CHANGE THIS ON ADVISE FROM A FRIEND AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND IT WAS A LITTLE HARD TO FIGURE OUT BECAUSE THE INSTRUTIONS WAS VERY VAUGE. BUT I GOT IT AND MADE IT WORK PROPERLY I AM VERY PLEASE WITH THIS UNIT NO MORE FEED BACK

Easy to install. Works like it should. ABSOLUTELY use tef-gel or lanocoat on all threads especially in salt water. This is not a replacement or even comparable to seastar systems!. But for the price it's great solution for small boats.
