This book which I heard about early and so pre-ordered came on Veterans Day / Armistice Day. I was thrilled for that to have happened as I had a veteran coming to dinner. This is well written for not only Young Adults but it was absorbing to me. The visuals were great. The writing was concise and informative. Any teacher should order this for their classroom on WW 1 history, Jewish History, African American History and for an all around inspiring life story of the success of American Immigration. Veterans should buy this for their grandkids.

Not only does the reader learn about two American heroes, the reader is present to see and hear the long sought recognition. President Obama's words ring true and are healing to us all. The authors wisely lead young people to a series of thoughtful questions to help them assess their own future path as patriotic Americans from all walks of life.
