Simple to install and simply works!
This was the second type of YoLink sensor I have purchased (I already have multiple digital temperature sensors and a power fail alert). They consistently have a GREAT design, from an aesthetic standpoint, user experience, and functionality. The water leak detector took only two minutes to install and configure, and makes use of their standard app (it's just another device among the many I have already). It is very flexible, and provided the features and configurability that I was hoping for.I highly recommend YoLink sensor products. They are well designed and at a great price.

Great investment!
We have polybutylene pipe throughout the house that is attached to a central manafold type system. Our neighbors house flooded from their manafold and I checked mine and found it was about to leak. We had some fitting replaced just in case and I decided to give the Yolink water detectors a try. I bought the main system which had the central hub and some detectors. I installed one under the manafold system, one in the pan that sits under the water heater (towards the edge of the pan so it isn't near the heat source), and one under the kitchen sink. Since the initial install I purchased several Yolink add on detectors and have them under every sink, behind every toilet in the house, and next to the washing machine. They work and give great peace of mind and are so easy to add to the system. When we mop the bathroom floors, the detectors always send me an alert on my phone letting me know that water was detected behind the toilet, so they do work great.I installed a bathroom faucet, made sure there were no leaks and the faucet worked perfect for two weeks. The Yolink notified me there was a leak and I was able to catch it before it made a mess or did any damage. Turned out the new faucet was faulty and I had to replace it. Yolink saved a potentially huge problem especially since it was a guest bathroom on the second floor that we hardly ever use.Well worth the investment and peace of mind.As for how it works, you attach the hub to your wifi then download the app to your phone, scan the sensors (you can name each sensor and give it a location), then place the sensors where they go. Within the app you set up how you want the hub to communicate with you. I set it to send me texts.I really like that each sensor is able to be labeled with the room and the location. For example one sensor is named "Guest Bathroom Sink 1- by door", another is named "Guest Bathroom sink 2- by toilet", etc.Overall excellent detectors and excellent price.

Nice and handy water leak sensor.
It works fine, easy to connect to wifi and it needs a station that connects with a wifi.It can't connect to wifi alone needs a common station that will connect all sensors with wifi and works with an app.

Easy set up
This was very easy to setup. I purchased for peace of mind while traveling and it worked great. I also emailed their tech support with a question and they got back to me within 24 hours. They were very helpful. I couldn't figure out why the hub kept going offline. Ummm, it helps if you don't plug it into an outlet that's controlled by a light switch. Lol. Stupid user error.

Why do most of us wait until...
you know.. wait until you've had a leak to buy a leak sensor? I like YoLink. I use them for my doors and temp gauges. Battery life is excellent, and they've been solid. I had a leak, which I managed to luckily catch before too much damage was done, and I realized I never put a sensor down.As I stated, I like YoLink. They work. They're reliable. The only caveat of course is that you need WIFI for them to work so if you are in a situation where there is no WIFI or you are concerned about leaks when your internet is down, this may not be the route to go. Otherwise, I recommend it.

Easy Setup
I received the hub & one water sensor yesterday. This morning I setup the hub and water sensor. I have to say it was very easy to setup. I downloaded the app scanned the QR code on the hub itself (not the box) and connected to home WiFi right away. I placed the hub in the room with our router and also did the setup their as well. Next I scanned the QR code on the water leak sensor. After which I simply held the set button; which is on the back of the device and it blinked red and after five seconds I released and device showed on line. I named the device by where I was putting it. This one I placed by my water heater in the basement. The hub is located on the second floor of my home; so it’s as far as you could get in my house from where I placed the sensor. I took a small amount of water placed on floor next to water heater & set sensor down. I received an alert on my phone and email instantly. Only thin I’ve not figured out yet is how to name the room, but really isn’t critical for me as I simply named the device Water Heater Leak Sensor. I only purchased one device; because I want to see how stable the connection remains, if I get any false positive alerts, and when WiFi goes down how well does the device respond resetting, etc. I’ll test over next 60 days or so, and if no issues I will be purchasing for sump room, under kitchen sink and laundry room and one for each bathroom to place behind toilets. This is the second water sensor I’ve tried as the first one was a bust and setup was too cumbersome. This was a breeze to setup. I’ll follow up in a couple of months and let you know if I bought more. It’s been about a month since initial setup. Internet went out and actually wasn’t aware when it came back up that the hub wasn’t online. It didn’t automatically reconnect. I unplugged and plugged back in and it reconnected. I went to basement, because water sensor was still offline. All I had to do was push button on back and it was online. What I didn’t like was I didn’t get an alert it was offline. I need to look into the setup, but think that should be an automatic alert anytime the device or hub are offline. But in fairness it wasn’t hard to get reconnected. Not yet ready to add more sensors yet. Need to assure alert process goes beyond just the email when water is detected to include alert when system is offline. Dropping to four stars for now.

Fantastic Protection and Easy to Use
This device, like the other ones in the YoLink family, is exceptionally easy to put into service and well-built which gives me confidence in its reliability. I've stationed these water sensors all over the house now, having bought a bunch more. I've rigged it so that sensing a water condition (drip, spill, flood, etc.) will sound an alarm in my home office, notify me and my wife on our cell phones (by way of the app), and send me an SMS text message. I plan to get YoLink's 110dB alarm unit too, but haven't yet. Every once in a while, I test the alarm system by putting a random sensor (say, the one under the kids' bathroom sink) in a small puddle on the countertop just to reassure me that all is still operational. I really like this system! Also, the door sensors are great because it helps me keep tabs on who's filching the junk food from the basement pantry! (I pretend the door sensor is there to ensure we close the insulated door...)

Everyone should have!
These devices are fantastic. Easy setup and work great! Pair (D2D) these with the smart water shutoff valve and you have a complete system. As soon as any one of your water sensors detect water it will trigger the water shutoff valve to automatically shut off water to the house even if the house is without internet or power.

Excellent product
I currently have 15 of these in my house. The yolink app is great, although I use Home Assistant (HA) for all my smart home products. And Yolink wrote their own integration for HA - so it is very stable. In my configuration, if any of the sensors goes off, the leak sensor talks directly to my yolink watervalve and turns it off (even if the power and internet are out), we are then notified by whatsapp. If we aren't within 30km of home, then HA begins notifying other people of the issue (including specifying which leak sensor and where it is located in the house)
