Works as expected.
Nice little chopper for thin styrene strip. Easy to set angles and gives clean cuts on the thicknesses I use for scratch building.

Perfect
The guillotine arrived three days after ordering. I required it to cut 1mm thick wooden planking for my model boat. It was so easy to use, and it will make cutting the planking so much easier. A brilliant item for the price.

will do the job
It looks like this will work well for soft materials such as matchsticks. Come with a spare blade and cutting mat. Its made from plastic materials, but this is of a decent thickness and it should give many years of use. It lacks a depth stop, but no matter a piece of masking tape along the edge of the angle plate will do the job to mark off the distance. Good Clean cuts on a few trial matchsticks All in all a good product and at a good price.Sadly, I cannot say the same for the Courier company used to ship this. Despite being told that it was to be delivered to a factory unit that is closed over the weekend it was finally delivered on third attempt through a fence on Saturday (dumped would be more apt description) Not at the correct address, but had it been it would have been closer to the footpath and no doubt lost.

Inexpensive, does the job but not totally safe or precise
As an inexpensive tool to make vertical cuts through small, soft items it does its job. The razor blade is viciously exposed when the handle is raised and I quickly glued on piece of sponge to act as guard for the corner of the blade - there are no safety features. It took a fair amount of force to cut through a 1 inch length of 1mm styrene sheet and the handle wouldn't have taken much more. Being all plastic, there is a degree of flex, so cuts may not be 10% precise. My main disappointment is that although there are guides for angled cuts, the guides are a long way from the blade and so useless from small items, and there is no length measurement at all - ideally it would have length stops, a ruler next to the blade and/or markings on the cutting pad. the instructions for assembly could have been clearer - it took a long time to realise that the hole in the blade is not for a screw to go through and the blade is just held by the plastic. The cutting pad taped underneath is just a spare. Value for money but not precision engineering.

Sturdy craft cutter
A sturdy cutter for many materials easy to set up and easy to use, a little bigger than I expected but not overly large. It was easy to set up and comes with 2 blades, I also found a spare cutting mat under the base. With a sturdy handle and sharp blade cutting was easy, and at 90 degrees un like some cheaper cutters that let the blade drift. A well performing, high quality well thought out craft cutter.

THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO CUT POPSICLE STICKS!!!
This is a plastic product with a cheap stanley type blade, It WILL NOT cut through a lolly/popsicle stick!it will cut thick cardboard at best! Not worth buying in my honest opinion!
